General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) Pentonville transport will be derailed thanks to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) wild plan to keep his lover out of prison.
GH fans know Anna has been denied bail, but she can’t stay in lockup at the PCPD. Anna will be sent to Pentonville soon, so the stakes have been raised.
As Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) pointed out, Anna will be harder to protect if she’s locked away at Pentonville. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) could potentially have Anna targeted and even killed behind bars.
It’s just not a good idea for Anna to land somewhere that makes her even more vulnerable to Victor and all his scheming. Luckily, Anna will get some help from a familiar face during the week of November 7-11.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) came through for Valentin in Switzerland, so he’ll have some good news when he visits Anna. Valentin will show up at Anna’s cell and thank her for sending Laura to get him out of his jam.
Of course, Valentin will also reveal that he was able to get Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) away from her boarding school and back home where she belongs. Now they just have to get Anna out of her own predicament!
The charges may take some time to get dropped, especially since Victor framed Anna so meticulously. Unfortunately, time is something Anna doesn’t have – at least when it comes to this Pentonville situation.
Once Valentin visits Anna, she’ll reveal that her prison transfer is happening that exact night. Valentin will assure Anna that he has a plan for her freedom, but it sounds like he’ll have to work fast.
Since soaps are known for prison transport chaos, that’s probably what Valentin has in mind. The only way to keep Anna out of Pentonville at this point may be to hijack the transport van and create some getaway car drama.
GH spoilers say “The Hook” is on the verge of striking once again. That could leave the PCPD distracted and give Valentin a real chance to rescue Anna.
Naturally, we should consider the possibility of Valentin offering a fake version of “The Hook” – just to keep the cops busy. That’d be a pretty great diversion – even if it’s a little extreme.
Regardless, Valentin will do whatever it takes to restore Anna’s freedom and make sure Victor loses in the end. We’ll offer updates as other details become available.
