General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may play Daddy to Bailey Louise Jones (London and Prinzo-Berendt) in a warm Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) moment. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may struggle over the baby’s new family forming, so let’s talk about what we know so far.
Maxie lashed out at Austin over what he spilled to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), but she knows Bailey’s kidnapping wasn’t really his fault.
Besides, Maxie was stressed to the max and hiding the fact that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had contacted her.
In other words, there were a lot of difficult emotions going on, so Maxie mostly ripped into Austin because he was there.
Maxie was determined to get Bailey back and understandably not concerned about Austin’s feelings at the time.
However, Maxie can patch things up with Austin now and start moving in the direction of the romance they both want.
Austin will have a chance to bond with Maxie and perhaps Bailey as well during the week of March 7-11.
Unfortunately, GH spoilers say that bonding session will be interrupted – and soon after, Brook Lynn will have an emotional reaction to what she sees.
It sounds like Brook Lynn will stumble across a moment where Austin is doting on the baby and hanging out with Maxie.
From Brook Lynn’s perspective, it may look like Maxie, Austin and Bailey are already creating the picture-perfect family.
Despite Maxie’s best efforts to help Brook Lynn feel included through her special “Mama Brook Lynn” title, this will be a painful reminder that she’s not truly Bailey’s mother.
Brook Lynn may ultimately burst into tears and open up to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) later.
Chase, Brook Lynn and Bailey once had a little family, too – even if it was a fake one.
It’ll be hard for Brook Lynn to watch Maxie and Austin build a real version of that with Bailey, but she’ll just have to carry on somehow.
On the bright side, maybe Chase and Brook Lynn will create their own real family down the road.
Brook Lynn could get pregnant with Chase’s baby at some point, so that’s something to keep in mind when it comes to their own budding romance.
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn will have a tough time for now, but better days are hopefully ahead!
