General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Proves Britt Doesn’t Have Huntington’s Disease – Uncovers Victor’s Genetic Marker Trick?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may uncover Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) Huntington’s disease manipulation. Will Austin prove that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) doesn’t truly have the genetic marker after all?

Victor has admitted some strange things that could point to Britt’s fake diagnosis. There are good reasons to think Britt may have been duped along with her mother.

Victor lured Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to St. Lucia under the guise of a medical symposium for inherited diseases.

Victor later revealed to Liesl that he knew about Britt’s Huntington’s disease marker and the fact that Britt wasn’t exhibiting symptoms yet.

Victor then tried to manipulate Obrecht into doing his bidding.

Victor used the promise of seeing Britt as leverage and acted like Liesl should want to spend time with her only surviving child while she still could.

Of course, we have to wonder why Victor’s deception centered around Britt and this Huntington’s disease angle.

How did Victor know about that – and how did he know Britt didn’t have symptoms, especially considering Britt had some tremors that wound up not being connected to the diagnosis?

There are signs that perhaps Victor was in cahoots with the Canadian doctor who offered Britt’s test results.

After all, Victor only recently figured out that Louise August is “Bailey Quartermaine” (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

How was Victor so in the loop on Britt this entire time, especially when it took so long to put the puzzle together regarding Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) daughter?

Maybe it’s because Victor manufactured Britt’s whole situation!

There may have been nothing to figure out if Victor simply made it seem like Britt had the Huntington’s disease marker.

That brings us to Britt and Austin’s conversation in the January 25 episode.

After Austin finally admitted to having a brother on the spectrum, he got the feeling that Britt was holding back about a medical condition within her own family.

Austin thought it was Britt’s turn to spill, but Victor interrupted and delayed Britt’s potential confession.

There might be a reason the show is finding ways to keep Victor in Britt and Austin’s orbit.

We should also note how weird it was when Victor essentially taunted Britt about her Huntington’s disease in the January 26 episode.

Britt denied having it, but the show highlighted all the clues we mentioned about the phony symposium and Victor’s way-too-convenient knowledge.

When the time is right, maybe Austin could be the one to uncover Britt’s bogus Huntington’s disease marker.

GH writers seem to be toying with the idea of a Britt and Austin romance despite his interest in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

With that in mind, what better way to push them together than by having Austin come to Britt’s rescue?

Can you imagine the overwhelming freedom Britt would feel if Austin proved her Huntington’s disease wasn’t legit?

Britt would be eternally grateful to Austin and could let herself fall hard for him as a result.

We’ll offer updates as other GH news becomes available.

General Hospital spoilers say some twists and turns are ahead in Austin’s love life, so maybe a Britt relationship is still in his future.
