General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) vow renewal may soon be back on. Will Nikolas’ wild Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) passion be exposed at the recommitment ceremony?
Now that Nikolas crossed such a steamy line with Esme, there’s no turning back.
This has turned into a secret that’s going to weigh on Nikolas’ conscience, but guilt won’t be enough to make him unburden himself.
Nikolas was mostly concerned about how Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) might react in the aftermath of his hookup with Esme, but she assured him that “Spencer” never has to know.
Of course, things are complicated now that Ava and Spencer are right outside the door!
There’ll be a close call, but Nikolas will manage to cover up the fact that he just did the dirty deed with Esme.
Even so, Nikolas will soon shift his focus to Ava and how terrible he feels for breaking his marriage vows.
Nikolas and Ava’s relationship is on the rocks, but that still didn’t give Nik a right to do what he did.
There’ll be some soapy fake-outs where it looks like Nikolas is going to come clean, but he’ll ultimately realize that could end in disaster.
Ava hates Esme’s guts, so there’s no way she could tolerate her husband falling prey to that nightmare’s seduction efforts.
As a result, Nikolas will decide he needs to stay tight-lipped about stripping down and making love to Esme.
It’s the only way to salvage Nikolas’ marriage at this point.
Ava had a nice conversation with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on the May 31 episode and now seems more willing to meet Nikolas halfway on some things.
Nikolas truly loves Ava and wants to work through their issues if they can, so he should be pleased over her willingness to try.
However, Nikolas will know that willingness would go right out the window if Ava knew about his horrible betrayal with Esme.
If Ava eventually suggests getting the vow renewal back on track, that could raise the stakes even further.
There’s been so much talk about this recommitment ceremony that it’d be a shame if it didn’t happen.
It could serve quite the backdrop for a big reveal – the revelation that Nikolas betrayed Ava with Esme in the worst way possible!
Will Ava and Nikolas’ vow renewal plans get back on track? Will Esme make sure that’s where the truth explodes and try to do the maximum damage?
Regardless, Nikolas will work to keep all that raging Esme passion a secret, but Esme should be equally determined for this shocker to come out.
