General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will be rushed to GH after a violent attack. Ava will end up clinging to life as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) spins out, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
After yet another confrontation with Nikolas, Ava will land in the path of someone dangerous and disturbing.
There’ll be a secretive villain who emerges from the shadow and apparently goes after Ava with a giant hook.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will come to Ava’s rescue in the August 29 episode, but she won’t be able to prevent disaster.
By then, Ava will already be severely wounded.
Josslyn may or may not catch a glimpse of this mysterious villain, but she’ll definitely be in a situation where she can help Ava.
Perhaps Josslyn will discover Ava bleeding out and call 911 for her.
Joss will find the whole experience pretty traumatic and will lean on Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for comfort in the aftermath.
As for Ava, she’ll be hospitalized at GH and may need emergency surgery.
Ava will be in a desperate fight for survival, so Nikolas will be an emotional wreck – especially since his final interaction with Ava will be a tense one.
It’ll break Nikolas’ heart to think of that being the last time he ever speaks with the woman he loves.
Nikolas may ultimately find himself by Ava’s bedside begging her to just wake up.
Maybe Nikolas will argue that he wants Ava to have a future, even if it’s not one with him.
This is the kind of horrible experience that could lead to a fresh start for Ava and Nikolas eventually.
If Ava can survive something as brutal as this, surely her marriage to Nikolas can survive, too.
Of course, Nikolas will no doubt want revenge on Ava’s attacker, but that’ll also bring a mystery with some twists and turns.
For now, Ava’s health will be the priority – and she’ll definitely be in bad shape.
There’ll be some moments when Nikolas fears Ava isn’t going to pull through, so it sounds like he’ll need a miracle!
