General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will hope to set a dangerous trap for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so she’ll tell Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) how to expose the video setup.
During the week of May 9-13, Trina will voice her frustrations to Ava.
Although Trina has received plenty of support from her friends and family members, none of that matters if she can’t clear her name.
Trina is still facing a trial for something she didn’t do, so she’ll struggle to know her next move.
Since Trina has come to rely on Ava as a confidant, they’ll have a conversation about Trina’s struggles and how much she wants to bring Esme down.
It’s obvious to pretty much everyone who knows Esme and Trina what happened here.
Nobody believes someone as pure-hearted as Trina would film her friends sleeping together and then leak it online.
Esme is the cruel one who blew up Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) lives.
Now Trina is on the hook for Esme’s crimes, so how is she going to wiggle out of this?
After Ava listens to Trina’s concerns, she’ll suggest a new strategy.
Since Esme is clearly the jealous type when it comes to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Ava will think Trina can use that to her advantage.
Spencer is drawn to Trina, so Ava will feel like that can work in Trina’s favor, too.
GH spoilers say Ava will push Trina to make a fake romantic play for Spencer.
Ava will want Trina to get flirty and make sure Esme witnesses it. That way, Esme will get riled up and potentially fall into the trap of incriminating herself.
However, Trina won’t be certain this plan is a good one.
Although Trina will appreciate Ava’s assistance in brainstorming, she’ll worry about looking like some kind of manipulative vixen.
Trina will ultimately admit she’s sitting on info that could help her, but it could also hurt someone else.
Ava will likely realize Trina means Spencer, but Trina will try to keep the details under wraps for now.
Trina was with Spencer in the cemetery when the video went public, so that could help make a case for why she wasn’t responsible.
Unfortunately, it would also get Spencer in trouble since he wasn’t supposed to be taking that little prison field trip.
Trina will have a lot to think about after this strategy session with Ava, but she’ll hope to nail down some plan to save herself before it’s too late.
