Based on the writing Sasha and Brando are getting, it just feels like a split is inevitable.
Sasha had to pop pills to even get through a trip with Brando. The fact that Sasha was all hyped up on drugs when she proposed doesn’t bode well for the couple.
That’s especially true since Sasha wanted to get married for the wrong reasons.
Sasha entered this marriage as a way to make sure Liam Corbin’s short life meant something.
Sasha’s still drowning in grief and struggling with drugs, but those aren’t the only obstacles this marriage is up against.
Sasha already made her feelings clear when it came to mob danger, but Brando’s certainly drifting in the direction of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization anyway.
When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) weren’t willing to offer support, Brando stepped right up to call out Michael’s privilege.
It was Brando who spoke up to understand Sonny’s perspective, so he’s already feeling like new right-hand man material.
That’s especially true since Brando came to Sonny’s rescue with the robbers at Charlie’s Pub.
It feels like Brando’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) transformation is underway, so what happens to his marriage once that transformation is complete?
Can Sasha really handle Brando being the new Jason – constantly answering the Corinthos call to put his life on the line and protect Sonny’s loved ones?
It doesn’t seem like it under the circumstances, so Sasha and Brando would probably be better off with other people.
Some new romantic paths could open up if an annulment or a divorce is coming up.
Sasha could easily drift back toward Michael once he faces some relationship issues of his own with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
There’s even a chance Sasha could fall for someone new. A totally clean slate might be helpful to someone in Sasha’s position.
Brando got some chemistry-testing with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) once upon a time.
That’s worth keeping in mind if Brando’s about to kick off a new romantic chapter.
It’s possible Brando could end up with Maxie if her romance with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) doesn’t pan out.
Sam could be another option once her relationship with Dante leads to Splitsville.
Although Sam distanced herself from Jason due to his dangerous lifestyle, she might change her mind after some Dante heartache – especially now that the kids are getting a bit older and have Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) around as a protective presence in their lives.
Whatever the case, Brando has other romantic possibilities – though he might not have much time for love once he’s filling Jason’s enforcer role and coming whenever Sonny calls!
General Hospital spoilers say Brando and Sasha may face some marriage bumps in the road that are just too difficult to get past.
