General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may hit the sheets with Austin Galtin Holt (Roger Howarth) and finally escape Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) ghost. Britt has really struggled in the aftermath of Jason’s death and needs a way to move forward. It turns out Austin could provide that way forward in the coming weeks.
There was a time when it looked like Austin and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) might become a romantic pairing, but the show’s been steering away from that idea.
Maybe they realized Maxie and Austin were devoid of any sizzling chemistry whatsoever and decided friendship was for the best!
Austin and Maxie just don’t have the special spark needed for a soap romance. The jury’s still out on Britt and Austin’s potential as a GH couple, but it does seem like the show’s testing the waters.
There have been tons of shared scenes between Austin and Britt lately, which is clue number one.
Austin has also given Britt pep talks and can see another side of her. He doesn’t view Britt as “The Britch” and genuinely thinks highly of her as a caring doctor.
Britt may have felt like Jason was the only person who could see the good in her at one time.
There are certainly other men capable of falling for Britt – and Austin indeed just might be on the verge of falling hard.
Some intense moments are coming up for Austin and Britt at the hospital soon.
That could be related to Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) escape and any scary ordeal that might result. Regardless, Britt and Austin will feel out of their comfort zone and will bond over the traumatic experience.
General Hospital spoilers say some exciting Austin and Britt developments are brewing during the week of January 10-14.
Whether these two hit the sheets now or later, the writing goal seems to be putting them in bed together.
Perhaps Britt will sleep with Austin and finally start to let go of what might’ve been with Jason!
It sounds like Austin and Britt will have to figure out what their future might look like – at least if things go beyond a hot hookup.
