General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may find proof that her Huntington’s diagnosis was a scam. Will Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box reveal Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) trick?
GH fans know Victor and Peter were working together for quite some time, so it’s reasonable to think Peter might’ve had leverage tucked away.
That’s especially true if it was leverage that related to Peter’s own flesh and blood.
Britt obviously hated Peter, but that was still her half-brother through Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
On some level, that family connection may have mattered to Peter in the end.
There has to be a reason why Peter left Britt his personal effects – and it apparently ties in with the safe deposit box that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) found the key to. What exactly is inside that box?
Ever since Britt found out she had the marker for Huntington’s disease, it’s shaped every aspect of her life.
Britt has had to live with this dark cloud hanging over her, but GH writers might be on the verge of eliminating it.
Peter was a twisted guy, but he might’ve decided that Britt deserved to know the truth – that is if she cared enough to look through his belongings and figure this out.
Maybe Peter knew that Victor secretly manipulated Britt’s test results and forced that doctor in Canada to say what he wanted.
Victor always seemed to know way too much about Britt’s condition.
Viewers will recall how Victor cooked up that fake medical symposium on inherited diseases in St. Lucia, which was meant to lure Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) into his lair.
There have also been times when Victor seemed to be taunting Britt over what he knew.
Things have just been fishy when it comes to Victor’s potential connection to Britt’s storyline.
Could Britt find out she doesn’t have the Huntington’s disease marker after all? Will Britt’s real test results be in Peter’s safe deposit box?
Time will tell, but Britt and Cody are indeed about to make a shocking discovery!
