General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could manipulate Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) with a fake bio mom trail. Will Carly take a page out of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) playbook?
There’s been a lot of talk lately about Valentin’s fake bio daughter trick, which led Nina to believe that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was her biological child.
Since Valentin was desperate to grant Nina’s wish of being a mother and couldn’t find the real deal, offering up a fake daughter was the next best thing.
Could Carly find herself in a similar situation now that Willow is determined to find her birth mother?
Carly knows Nina is the bio mom in this case and will soon have DNA evidence, but what then?
Willow surely won’t stop until she uncovers the truth, so Carly can either sit back and watch it happen or stand in the way.
Knowing Carly as well as we do, she could easily choose to create some obstacles.
Since Carly seemed to buy into Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) idea that Willow needed to be protected from possessive Nina, she needs to throw Willow off the trail.
The only way Willow will stop searching for the truth about her birth mother is if she thinks she’s found her.
That could mean Carly will follow Valentin’s lead here by offering up a fake version.
Carly could potentially manipulate the situation and leave some clues that lead Willow to the wrong conclusion.
Perhaps Carly will essentially offer up a faux mother – one that’s a better option than risky Nina.
Of course, that alternative could be someone who’s dead if Carly wants to bury this whole thing completely.
Then again, Carly could offer a living, breathing mother option – someone nurturing that Willow can accept into her life while forgetting all about Nina.
It’d be cruel to dupe Willow again with more mom manipulation considering what Harmony did, but Carly just might be desperate enough to do it.
When it comes to Carly and her hatred for Nina, nothing is off the table.
Carly will grow increasingly furious with Nina in the coming weeks, so we wouldn’t put it past her to take her scheme this far.
Is that why GH writers have been highlighting Valentin’s old fake bio daughter deception? Is Carly about to kick off a similar scam and offer up a fake bio mom?
