Although Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) doesn’t want Carly to fight her battles for her, that’s never stopped Carly before!
Carly isn’t in the habit of listening to her kids when they tell her to butt out.
There’s always going to be that mama bear instinct in Carly that leaves her desperate to help.
Carly has vowed to find proof against Esme, but this is bigger than just the cabin video scandal.
Perhaps Carly will start to wonder what secrets are contained in Esme’s past and seek someone who could provide some dirt.
Esme has repeatedly mentioned the nanny that raised her after her adopted parents died.
That nanny could certainly have some tales to tell about Esme, especially if Esme murdered her adoptive mom and dad like some fans suspect.
Regardless, Carly and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) did research on Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) past back when they were trying to get her out of Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) life.
It’s reasonable to think Carly will want to arm herself with any dirty little secrets that Esme might be hiding.
This might even offer a project for Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to collaborate on.
Then again, Carly might take matters into her own hands and use her own resources to find Esme’s old nanny herself.
GH fans know how determined Carly can be, particularly when she’s fighting to protect her kids.
Will Carly be the one to track Esme’s mysterious nanny down and bring her to Port Charles for questioning?
With all the nanny mentions, it just feels like this woman could end up being an important part of the story.
If nothing else, this woman could resurface to tell Carly just how dangerous Esme is and provide some examples of just how far Esme’s gone to get what she wants.
If this nanny knows who Esme’s biological father is, this might even lead to Carly uncovering her connection to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Whatever the case, Esme is keeping some things under wraps – and the nanny could be the key to unlocking some of those secrets for Carly.
