General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may find Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) hiding in a tropical locale. Will Carly’s trip bring an unexpected reunion?
Since we know Chloe Lanier filmed a brief return stint, we should start thinking about how Nelle will fit in the story. During the week of September 5-9, it looks like Nelle will appear in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) nightmare and possibly Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) vision, too.
However, it’d be a waste to bring Nelle back and only have her be in people’s imaginations.
The show went to the trouble of arranging this return stint for Chloe Lanier, so it’s probably more important than just a couple dreams.
Of course, it’s also kind of weird for Carly to be going on this corporate retreat to Aruba, isn’t it?
We can’t ignore the timing since Carly’s taking this trip around when Nelle’s stint will be airing.
If Nelle survived her cliff fall and has faked her death, where is she now?
We won’t be surprised at all if Nelle is lounging in a big hat and sunglasses with a Mai Tai – perhaps somewhere in Aruba or close to it!
We should note that Carly’s plane will have to make an emergency landing, so it’s possible she’ll end up at another destination.
Regardless, it’s easy to imagine this scenario of Carly crossing paths with Nelle in some tropical locale.
After Carly’s travel plans go awry during the week of September 12-16, she’ll bump into a less than friendly face.
Could this encounter involve someone familiar? Will it be Nelle who fumes over seeing Carly of all people?
Nelle might point out that she’s leaving Carly’s family alone and warn against turning her into the cops.
Does Carly really want to stir up more Nelle drama when she actually seems content to stay away?
Carly may feel like Nelle should be punished, but is it worth the risk of getting tangled back up in her twisted web?
Plus, ratting Nelle out would mean reuniting Nina with a daughter – and Carly may be bitter enough to not want that.
If Nelle bolts again, it could still give Carly the valuable information that her old enemy is alive.
That could prove crucial down the road if Willow needs a bone marrow donor and there’s a chance for Nelle to be a match.
There might have to be a desperate search for Nelle after all, so it’ll be interesting to see how all this plays out.
