General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) forgiveness may stun Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so will their next showdown come with a big surprise?
Carly was certainly taken aback in Jacksonville when her latest rival did a sudden about-face.
Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) had done nothing but berate, blame and demean Carly from almost the moment the latter showed up.
That’s why it was bizarre when Peyton decided she was moved enough by Carly’s guild speech to change her vote.
In fact, Peyton tried to fight for the cemetery in the end.
Although Peyton wasn’t able to stop the project and preserve Virginia Benson’s (Lois Nettleton) wishes, the fact that she tried meant something to Carly.
Peyton asked for forgiveness, so Carly may have that change of heart on her mind as she heads home with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Will Carly decide to follow Peyton’s lead and forgive Nina for her own past mistakes?
During the week of October 24-28, Carly and Drew will mull over the future. A little later, Carly will reach a major decision, so that could tie in with Nina.
It’s easy to imagine Carly making a big show out of forgiving Nina for Nixon Falls and everything else.
Naturally, that doesn’t mean Carly is going to be Nina’s bestie, but she may hope for a turning point.
Carly might push for a real truce with Nina and provide forgiveness as a peace offering.
Life is too short to let grudges ruin everything, so Carly may make an attitude adjustment following this trip.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) won’t be happy if Carly goes too easy on Nina moving forward.
Forgiveness definitely isn’t an option for Michael right now, so he may rip into Carly if she takes this step.
As for Nina, she might think this feels like more of Carly’s usual blame game.
Even if this forgiveness conversation happens, Nina may doubt Carly’s sincerity and suspect she’s trying to make herself look good.
If Carly considers coming clean about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) being Nina’s bio daughter, Nina may blow it by rejecting the olive branch!
