General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may try a sneaky bone marrow donor match plan. This strategy could hide Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bio connection – at least for a while longer!
Ever since Harmony Miller (Inga Candranel) revealed that Nina was Willow’s biological mother, Carly’s been hiding a huge secret.
Of course, Carly got DNA results to back up Harmony’s claims, but she lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about the true results.
That wouldn’t have been a big issue if it hadn’t been for Willow’s health crisis.
Now Willow is facing stage 4 leukemia, so she needs a more aggressive treatment strategy than she expected.
In addition to chemotherapy, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) is hopeful about finding a bone marrow donor – though Willow assumes she’ll have to rely on a stranger for help.
Willow doesn’t have any living relatives as far as she knows, but that might give her the best chance of a match.
Once Carly gets updates on all this, she’ll land in a tight spot.
Carly obviously wouldn’t want to keep a secret that could cost Willow her life, but she won’t want to reveal Nina and Willow’s mother-daughter link unless it’s absolutely necessary either.
Perhaps Carly will find a sneaky workaround by insisting Nina should step up and see if she’s a match just in case.
It’d be easy for Carly to act like she’s recruiting everyone she can, including Nina.
Carly might make a speech about Nina doing her part as Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) grandmother.
Willow is important to Wiley and needs to stick around for her adopted son, so Nina might agree to help if possible.
There are ways for Carly to handle this without raising red flags about Willow being biologically related to Nina.
This way, it might look like a miraculous coincidence if Nina is indeed a match.
However, Carly can’t keep a lid on a secret this massive forever. Drew could be a problem if he grows suspicious and fears Carly hasn’t been offering the real story.
In other words, Carly might try to wiggle out of dropping the Nina bio mom bomb, but the truth is bound to come out sooner or later!
