General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may dump Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) over her selfish detective sabotage, so their romance may be cut short by heartbreak. Brook Lynn may let power and greed derail her chance at love!
In the October 21 episode, Brook Lynn checked her email and noticed there was a letter of support from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to get Chase reinstated, but she quickly deleted it.
Of course, Dante previously told Brook Lynn that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Arnold) might have some sway with the review board and that Chase could be getting his job back within weeks.
The problem is that Brook Lynn has made so many plans for Chase’s music career – and as a result, she’s giving herself a new sense of purpose as his manager.
Brook Lynn is so focused on making Chase a star and plotting Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) takedown that she’s losing sight of what’s important.
It took a long time for Chase and Brook Lynn to finally admit their mutual feelings, but they conquered their fears and are now a couple.
During the week of October 24-28, Brook Lynn and Chase will deepen their relationship even further by making love.
Unfortunately, Chase won’t realize that Brook Lynn is keeping him in the dark and potentially sabotaging things when it comes to getting his detective job back.
Brook Lynn certainly shouldn’t have deleted Dante’s email and gone right back to pushing Chase down this musical road.
There will inevitably be other incidents along the way that prove Brook Lynn is being selfish and putting her own desires above Chase’s.
Dante initially urged Brook Lynn not to spill anything to avoid getting Chase’s hopes up, but it’s obvious her motives aren’t about protecting Chase at this point.
Brook Lynn is only protecting what she wants!
Of course, Chase got himself in this predicament by punching Linc and defending Brook Lynn’s honor, so that makes her selfishness even worse.
Brook Lynn knows how badly Chase wants to be a detective again, but she’s fixated on this whole music thing and can’t let her own goals go.
It feels like this battle between the PCPD and the music world could explode into something tragic.
Will Chase dump Brook Lynn at the end of all this and let her agenda tear them apart?
Chase could easily look for love elsewhere, so Brook Lynn had better watch out!
