General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may get arrested for murder, so this wrongfully accused attacker may face Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wrath.
Dex was near the scene of both hook-related crimes so far, which has already put him on Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) radar.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) thankfully survived the attempt on her life, but Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death will raise the stakes.
That could lead to Dex eventually getting arrested for Brando’s murder as well as Ava’s attempted one.
A third victim will be added to the list soon, so that could add to Dex’s problems.
Of course, the clue Brando remembered will inevitably become a big part of this story.
Brando heard a jingling sound and compared it to times when he’s heard Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) bracelets clanking together. The show then cut to Dex’s military tags jingling around his neck.
GH writers want Dex to seem like the guilty party, but it’s way too early to reveal the true hook villain.
The first suspect is always the wrong one in murder mysteries like this, so it’s safe to assume Dex will be innocent.
However, that won’t stop Dante from getting the wrong idea about Dex and the secrets he’s keeping.
We’ll see Dex land in some seriously hot water during the week of September 26-30, so that’ll leave him fearful in more ways than one.
Dex certainly won’t want to land in prison for crimes he didn’t commit, but there are fates worse than Pentonville.
If Sonny genuinely believes Dex is to blame, he’ll most definitely sentence him to death.
Sonny would never let his own employee get away with harming Ava and killing Brando.
The fact that Dex is secretly working for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will leave Sonny even angrier once that shocking truth is revealed.
Dex will have reasons to fear for his life, so he might be safer behind bars for a while!
Whatever the case, the show is backing Dex into a corner, so there could be enough evidence to arrest him at some point.
Dante may slap the cuffs on Dex and read him his rights, but Sonny’s wrath is what Dex may be most terrified of.
