General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may be the third attack victim and cause Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to panic over her bloody body. Let’s talk about what we know so far.
For starters, Port Charles will grieve a sad death on the September 20 episode, so it looks like Brando will lose his fight to survive.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will think back on memories of Mike Corbin (Max Gail) that same day, so maybe Mike will pop up with little Liam Corbin to take Brando to the other side.
Once we get past that death, the mysterious hook villain will strike again.
It seems the third victim will be claimed just before Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) make a grisly discovery on September 26.
Diane has an appearance ahead of that discovery, so that’s important to note.
We’ll see some fun scenes of Diane at the Metro Court laughing it up with someone, so that could involve hanging out with Alexis or another friendly face.
That brings us to the discovery later. It makes sense that GH writers would want Diane’s close friend to find her.
Alexis would have a very emotional reaction to the sight of Diane bleeding out somewhere.
As for Gregory’s involvement, it’ll strengthen his bond with Alexis when he’s able to be a calming presence and help with this rescue.
That’ll serve as another way to push Alexis and Gregory together for a romance.
Of course, it’s also possible someone else will be the third victim, but Diane fits with the pattern we’ve seen so far.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was targeted before Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) – though Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) got in the way.
If Ava and Josslyn were the first intended victims and the third one is Diane, the show will really be working to make Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) look guilty.
Esme would have a motive to target all three of them, especially Diane who was so instrumental in defending Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in court and putting suspicion on Esme instead.
However, the writers would be making the whodunit awfully easy in that case.
There could be some misdirection here if they make Esme look guilty – only to reveal a more surprising culprit in the end.
