General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will betray Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) with an unexpected proposition for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so he’ll put business before romance – or at least their friendship that’s on the verge of romance.
GH fans know Drew is starting to get a bit bolder about flirting with Carly, who got flustered over his offer to go skinny dipping with her.
Carly seemed pretty turned on by Drew’s wet body emerging from the pool as well, so big things are happening here.
We’re starting to see the shift from friendship to a budding love story, especially now that Carly is officially done with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Carly finally feels free and has had the wakeup call she needed to move on with her life.
Although Carly isn’t ready to rush into anything with Drew, she clearly likes him and wants to see where this might lead.
Drew is someone Carly can lean on and has come to trust, but she’ll soon feel a sense of betrayal due to his upcoming move.
During the week of June 27-July 1, Drew will approach Nina with a business proposition in mind.
There’ll be some proposal related to the ELQ and Aurora Media merger, so Nina will hear Drew out and give this some serious thought.
Whether Drew wants Nina to invest in Aurora or help out another way, she’s poised to get on board according to other summer spoilers.
Of course, the deal Drew’s going to strike with Nina won’t go over well with Carly at all!
Carly wants nothing to do with Nina and won’t want Drew to have anything to do with her either.
Not to mention Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) is quite connected to all this, so Carly certainly won’t approve.
Nevertheless, Drew will do his best to offer an explanation once Carly lashes out.
This could cause a setback when it comes to the bond that’s developed for Carly and Drew, but Drew will insist it’s just business and hope Carly can understand.
Since Carly is lying to Drew about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) DNA test results, she doesn’t have much room to talk when it comes to betrayals!
General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s new business venture will provoke Carly’s wrath, but Carly may just have to get over it.
