General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will seek a mystery mob villain. Curtis and Drew will work to uncover Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) longtime threat, but they could stir up more trouble than they bargained for.
GH fans know Curtis was finally able to pry a few answers out of his secretive father. Marshall admitted to landing in some trouble related to criminal matters.
Marshall didn’t want to put his family in danger, so he faked his demise and took on a new identity.
Marshall never stayed in one place for too long and took steps so that no one would come looking for him.
Although Marshall knows there’s a certain element of risk that’ll never go away, he finally felt safe enough to track Curtis down after all this time.
Marshall wants to build some real family connections, but he wasn’t willing to offer up the name of the key player he alluded to.
Curtis knows mob ties are involved and wants a name, but Marshall just wants Curtis to let this go.
Marshall fears any further questions could put Curtis, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) at risk.
That may be true, but Curtis will feel like he can handle the threat. He’ll hope to eliminate it once and for all, but he has to nail down exactly who this key player is first.
That could be why Curtis will have a strategy session with Drew during the week of January 17-21.
After this strategy session, Curtis will await some important updates – perhaps involving news related to this mob threat and its exposure.
However, Marshall wouldn’t deliver such a serious warning if it didn’t mean something.
There’s a reason why Marshall is so concerned, so some dangerous drama could indeed be headed Curtis, Stella and TJ’s way.
This could also set the stage for a new mob villain to cause some Port Charles problems.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will find out about a new threat from Brick (Stephen A. Smith) on Monday’s GH episode, January 17, so maybe Curtis and Marshall’s storyline will spill over into some other ones.
Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see what info Drew and Curtis can come up with as they continue to join forces. As other GH details emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
