General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) could have a surprise romance. Will Jordan and Drew find a spark after Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) rejections?
Jordan will return as March kicks off – and it looks like she’ll be involved in helping Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) deal with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Of course, Victor still needs access to a Cassadine secret that’s buried deep within Drew’s memories, so Drew will remain a crucial puzzle piece.
Meanwhile, GH writers have been strengthening Drew and Curtis’ friendship.
They’re spending a lot of time together since Drew has been helping Curtis investigate Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).
There could be a reason why the show is really playing up Curtis and Drew’s bond.
Drew made it clear that he doesn’t poach when it comes to women, but Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) acted like Sam wasn’t in too deep with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and gave Drew a push to go after what he wanted.
Unfortunately, Drew later realized Sam was in love with Dante.
It led to Drew feeling like everyone had moved on while he was gone. Now we’ve got Jordan coming back on the scene – and she’ll inevitably feel the same way.
Jordan has been off getting special medical treatment in Albany, but the world kept right on spinning in Port Charles without her.
Now Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are moving in together, so Jordan may be distraught over just how far their relationship has progressed.
Part of Jordan was probably hoping to come home and reconcile with Curtis – just like part of Drew was hoping to reunite with Sam.
It’s easy to see the potential for a romance here through all the connections and similar feelings.
That could also create some drama in Curtis and Drew’s friendship if some jealousy develops.
Curtis may be happy with Portia now, but he could still end up pining for Jordan – especially if she starts to move on as well.
Ever since the news broke about Tanisha Harper taking over the role of Jordan, plenty of GH fans have started shipping Jordan and Drew on social media.
There’s no denying that they’d look sizzling together!
Drew needs a love interest anyway, so maybe the show will pair him up with Jordan – at least for a while.
Even if Jordan and Drew just comfort each other with a hookup or two, it’d be worth giving them a shot.
General Hospital spoilers say Jordan’s return will put her in Drew’s orbit, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
