General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) commune investigation will follow the bio mom trail, so Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will get nervous over her secret boyfriend helping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
GH fans know Carly got a DNA test done after Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) pointed to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as Willow’s birth mother.
Carly didn’t want to believe it was true, but the results made sure it was right there in black and white.
Even so, Carly felt the best thing she could do was keep quiet – especially since Willow decided she didn’t want to know who her birth parents were.
Carly lied to Drew about the DNA results and put the whole thing out of her mind.
That lie will come back to haunt Carly when she finds out Drew has joined Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) investigation.
Drew and Carly may not become privy to the need for a bone marrow donor just yet, but they’ll at least know the birth parents search is back on.
Carly will inevitably get nervous over the trail Drew is following for Willow’s sake.
Harmony told Willow about her time on the commune as an infant, so Willow will fill Drew in and give him some clues to start his investigation with.
That could lead to Drew visiting that Colorado commune – or whatever version of it that might still be around.
Drew will want to do everything in his power to come through for Willow since he’ll promise to pitch in on this.
What happens if Drew’s trail eventually leads to the real story and confirms Willow is Nina’s bio daughter?
Drew may ultimately uncover shocking answers about Harmony and Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) in New York.
At some point, Drew might realize Carly lied to him and call her out for it.
There may come a day when Drew flies into a rage over Carly’s deception and vows to expose this biological mom-daughter link himself.
That’ll certainly be Carly’s fear, so she’ll have something else to worry about on top of sneaking around with Drew as her secret boyfriend!
