General Hospital Spoilers tease Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) might have winced a bit when she realized Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had once again fallen for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). No one wants to feel like they were just a placeholder in someone’s life until they were able to couple back up with the person they were actually longing for all that time, and that’s just how Ellie is bound to feel about her relationship with Spinelli.
But now we know Ellie has moved on from their relationship to someone she considers to be safer and more reliable. Will Ellie’s last-night Christmas phone call with Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) end up bringing him back into the spotlight?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ellie Doesn’t Live in Port Charles
Currently, Ellie is still living in Portland, Oregon. Spinelli and his daughter went out to visit her over the holiday, given how sad she was last year to spend Christmas without the family she had become accustomed to.
Ellie was delighted to spend time with them, but her face lit up in a new way when Dr. Griffin Munro called her that evening. But that’s all she wrote.
For now, we have no idea what role Griffin is playing in Ellie’s life, and how it’s going to intersect with everyone else’s back in Port Chuck.
Word on the street is Ellie and Griffin will find a storyline that takes them both back to Port Charles.
GH Spoilers Hint Griffin is Back!
When Griffin is back in Port Charles, and likely back at General Hospital, it’s going to take some getting used to.
Is it possible he might fill the role Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is leaving behind as Co-Chief of Staff with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James)?
It’s looking like Griffin is coming back for more than a brief visit this time around.
Griffin’s here to stay, and he’s looking for love. Well, he thinks he’s found it with Ellie, but life in Port Charles won’t be the same as it was on the west coast.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ellie and Griffin Turn Heads
Both Ellie and Griffin are bound to turn heads when they get back in town. Spinelli will be happy that Ellie has found someone to spend her time with, but she just might find somebody else who piques her interest.
Rumor has it that person will be Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) — making for an interesting storyline as she couples up with Maxie’s ex who blackmailed Spin.
However, the more savory part of Ellie and Griffin falling apart is most certainly who Griffin will cozy up to next.
Fans have been longing for a Griffin and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) reboot ever since Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) stole him away from her mother.
