General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will blackmail Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so she’ll use their forbidden passion to get her internship reinstated at Spring Ridge.
GH fans know it was a huge blow when Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) ended that internship and had Esme barred from the premises.
Esme had been finding ways around her denied access to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), but this is one hurdle she can’t overcome alone.
Since Esme has to be able to communicate with Ryan regarding their schemes, she needs to get that internship back.
It’s crucial if Esme hopes to keep making all these sneaky Ryan visits.
Of course, Esme is a resourceful gal, so she’ll think about how she can override the strings Kevin pulled.
The easiest way to do that is to find someone with more power than Kevin.
Nikolas would qualify since Cassadines can do pretty much anything with all their money and connections.
Plus, Esme may have some fun holding this over Nikolas’ head, especially if she gets what she wants in the process.
Nikolas is in for a shock when he realizes Esme’s resorting to blackmail, but she’ll feel like it’s her best option.
Esme will warn Nikolas to get her Spring Ridge internship reinstated or else she’ll spread the news about their hot hookup – especially to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Since Nikolas won’t want Ava finding out he slept with Esme behind her back, he’ll have no choice but to cave in.
Nikolas will need to throw the Cassadine name around and perhaps bribe Esme’s way back into this internship.
Esme should be pleased with herself if the plan pays off and results in her being able to see Ryan once again.
However, it could also make Nikolas understand that he’s in deep trouble.
A small part of Nikolas will think Esme’s got guts to use their secret against him like this, but a bigger part of him will worry that she’s turning into a real wildcard!
