General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may bust scheming Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Will Esme overhear Spencer’s love for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and his takedown plot? Let’s look at some hints that could point in that direction.
Spencer is stringing Esme along and wants to prove she set Trina up. He’s hoping that if Esme drops her guard, then she’ll goof somehow and offer an opportunity to show she’s guilty instead.
However, Spencer may be a bit outmatched in the manipulation department.
Esme didn’t get this far without some ingenuity, so can Spencer really outwit Ryan Chamberlin’s (Jon Lindstrom) diabolically gifted daughter?
If we’re suddenly supposed to buy Spencer as some brilliant mastermind, that’s going to be a tough sell.
Esme was clearly the brains of the Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) stalker operation, so that’s probably the only reason Spencer made that work for as long as he did.
Spencer has already blabbed to Cameron Webber (William Lipton), who will nearly spill to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) during the week of April 18-22.
A panicked Spencer will insult Josslyn to shut Cameron down – which will lead to Cam punching Spencer before they both land in jail.
Nothing about any of that sounds smart! In fact, it all sounds very impulsive – and that’s not the way to beat someone as cold and calculating as Esme.
Spencer could make another risky move during the week of April 25-29.
GH spoilers say Trina will be working at the gallery alone when she hears the door shut.
Trina probably be nervous at first, but perhaps it’ll be Spencer – just there to come clean and pour his heart out.
After the arrest debacle and the realization of how this could affect Cam’s relationship with Joss, Spencer might be willing to let Trina in on his scheme.
Viewers saw a fantasy of what Spencer wanted to say recently, which included the confession that he was falling in love with Trina.
Spencer might do the same thing for real this time around. He may not be able to take the deception anymore and decide to tell Trina the whole story.
That sounds lovely for “Sprina” fans, but there could be a big problem.
Right after this gallery door-shut situation, General Hospital spoilers say Esme will listen in on Spencer’s conversation.
Could Esme suspect trouble and follow Spencer to the gallery?
Will Esme overhear that Spencer is trying to trap her and actually wants to be with Trina instead?
That could bring a fun scenario where Esme keeps up the act with Spencer – all while plotting to use what she knows against him.
Of course, it could go down another way, but there’s at least a chance Esme will figure out exactly what Spencer is up to.
