General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will discover a drunk Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) after an Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) fight, so that could be her prime opportunity to get this vulnerable husband in bed.
After Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) pushes Esme to make a bold move, she’ll put the pieces in place for one.
During the week of May 16-20, Esme will strike out with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so that could mean another block in the bedroom.
However, Esme won’t let that stop her from manipulating Nikolas.
In the aftermath of Esme’s setback with Spencer, she’ll manage to dupe Nikolas and pull him further in her direction.
Sleeping together has always been a huge part of Spencer and Esme’s relationship.
Esme used to make a big deal about being frequently intimate with Spencer, especially when she was taunting Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) before they took that step.
Now Spencer is pushing Esme away just like Ava’s doing to Nikolas.
Since that passionate connection has always been important in Ava and Nikolas’ marriage as well, this could give Esme an angle to work.
Nikolas may not love hearing about his son’s steamy activities or lack thereof, but Esme could act like they’re all adults here and feel the need to spill her passion problems to Nikolas.
Later, Esme will push Ava’s buttons and have a fierce faceoff with her. That should rile Ava up and make her more determined to keep Nikolas at a distance.
Things will get even worse during the week of May 23-27 when Nikolas clashes with Ava again and perhaps starts to view divorce as a very real possibility.
Regardless, Nikolas will end up throwing back some drinks before Esme finds him looking as vulnerable as ever.
Esme may keep the booze flowing and help Nikolas throw a pity party.
Maybe Esme will act like she understands Nikolas on a different level and confess just how close she feels to him.
This could be Esme’s perfect chance to get Nikolas into bed, so will she pull it off?
If so, this could go a couple different ways depending on how drunk Nikolas gets.
Nikolas might get so inebriated that he doesn’t remember much, so Esme could get under the covers with him and claim whatever she wants in the aftermath – even if nothing really happened.
Then again, Esme might actually sleep with Nikolas and make this a true marriage betrayal.
Either way, Esme’s going to discover Nikolas on a dangerous drunken night when he’s at his weakest.
It may be now or never if Esme’s going to hop in bed with Spencer’s father and use it to blow up his marriage to Ava.
