General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could ultimately get pregnant with Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) baby. Will Esme give Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) a grandchild and fulfill his family promise?
It’s obvious that GH writers wanted to create a character similar to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) when they brought Esme on canvas.
Esme is perhaps even more twisted than Nelle was since she’s got serial killer genes!
Regardless, we could see Esme head down the same pregnancy path that Nelle wound up on.
Just when it looked like Nelle was out of options, she revealed she was pregnant with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) baby and kept herself tied to him.
Of course, Nelle used Michael just like Esme is using Spencer.
Ryan assured Esme that if she listened to him, then she would have her heart’s desire: Spencer, Spencer’s fortune and the family she’s always wanted.
Wouldn’t getting pregnant by Spencer achieve all that for Esme?
Esme would permanently tie herself to Spencer, secure his fortune through his child and create a new family.
It makes sense that once Esme backs herself into a corner with all this twisted scheming, a pregnancy will be the get-out-of-jail-free card she tries to use.
It might help that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) likes Esme and has an instinct to look out for anyone with Cassadine blood.
That will include Esme’s baby if she ends up having Spencer’s son or daughter.
Esme could get pregnant with the next Cassadine heir, so Victor may protect her and that precious cargo.
As for Ryan, he’d surely be thrilled to know his own demented bloodline would carry on.
Ryan might have big plans to shape his grandchild into the worst villain you’ve ever seen.
Naturally, this baby would be the perfect soapy obstacle to put in Spencer and Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) path.
Just when it seems like Trina and Spencer are going to have their shot at being together, Esme can lock in her future with Spencer through a baby announcement.
Esme has more plotting to do in the meantime, but is a pregnancy bombshell waiting at the end of all this?
Will Esme eventually get knocked up and reveal she’s having Spencer’s baby?
