General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) may strike a freedom deal with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Will an Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) takedown alliance form once Victor makes a shocking discovery?
Victor will plan to move in Wyndemere soon, which means he’ll be under the same roof as Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) pregnant hostage.
Despite Nikolas’ best efforts to seal off the north tower, it’s tough to believe he’ll be able to keep Victor in the dark on his big secret.
Nikolas was smug in the October 25 episode when he talked about the Cassadine legacy being in his hands.
Like Esme, Nikolas seems to think that Cassadine bun in the oven offers some level of protection.
Nevertheless, Nikolas really shouldn’t underestimate Victor and his abilities as a master manipulator.
Victor has already threatened Nikolas with that murder confession letter, but he’ll have to shift his strategy once he finds Esme alive!
Nikolas could still go down for attempted murder, but Esme might have a better idea.
In exchange for her freedom from the storage wing, Esme may offer to help Victor get Ava out of the picture.
Esme’s pregnancy reveal alone might be enough to end Ava and Nikolas’ marriage, but Victor would probably rather throw Ava behind bars.
That way, there’d be no temptation for the fractured lovebirds to patch things up down the road.
Esme asked Nikolas for help getting a hotshot attorney who’d get her off the hook, so now she may ask Victor for the same thing.
Although Esme wants out of this storage wing in the short-term, her long-term goal would be total freedom – meaning she’d be cleared of all charges against her.
Victor is powerful enough to make that happen and might strike the deal, especially considering Esme is pregnant with a Cassadine.
Prison is no place for someone carrying an heir to the Cassadine throne, so Victor might go for Esme’s demands.
That said, Victor would have plenty of demands of his own.
Esme may have to keep Nikolas out of trouble entirely, so she might even claim Ava is the one who’s been holding her hostage.
Perhaps Esme could paint Ava as a vicious monster and make herself out to be the poor pregnant victim.
Even if the video confession gets out, Esme could just act like Nikolas was obviously covering for Ava – and that’s exactly what he was doing when he made that video.
Bottom line, Esme could vow to sing like a canary against Ava and help Victor get rid of the threat to his family.
In return, Esme may expect Victor to clear her name.
Of course, GH fans know Victor has proven he can’t be trusted – and he’ll certainly have no use for Esme once she’s done her part with Ava and given birth to this baby.
However, that’s a problem for some future version of Esme. The Esme in the present will just be concerned with getting the heck out of that dusty storage wing!
General Hospital spoilers say Esme might bargain for her freedom and make Victor her greatest ally – at least for a while.
