General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) could form a secret partnership. Will the sneaky Cassadine grant Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) access in exchange for help handling Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)?
So far, Victor has been able to pull the wool over Spencer’s eyes and seem like one of the good guys.
After all, Victor worked it out so Spencer only had to spend a month at Spring Ridge. Spencer could’ve been forced to spend years at a harsher prison facility without Victor’s intervention.
Victor also put a guard named Samuel on his payroll and has ordered him to watch out for Spencer while he’s locked up.
It’s clear that Victor cares about Spencer and perhaps views him as someone he can mold into a Cassadine villain of the future.
That’s why it’s so important for Victor to keep Spencer on his side.
Of course, GH spoilers say that could become more difficult once Victor’s sinister plan heats up.
Victor seems to like Esme and has a certain kinship with her since neither one of them is popular around town.
During a recent chat, Victor hinted that if everyone liked you, then you weren’t being true to yourself.
That comment really seemed to resonate with Esme and sparked a nice bond.
Now that Kevin has restricted Esme’s access to Ryan, she may turn to Victor for help as someone who knows how to pull strings.
Maybe Victor could arrange for Esme to continue visits with Ryan on the sly.
Naturally, Victor would need something to be in it for him. He might like the way Esme shows no fear around serial killer Ryan or anyone else for that matter.
Victor may decide Esme is his best chance at keeping Spencer headed down the more villainous path he wants.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) radiates goodness and love, so Victor can’t have her giving Spencer even more of a conscience.
Again, Victor seems to be grooming Spencer for a wicked future, so Trina’s positive influence isn’t a good thing from his perspective.
Shady Esme is on Victor’s side, so a mutually beneficial arrangement could form.
Esme might promise to whisper in Spencer’s ear and try to make sure he follows Victor like a loyal little Cassadine soldier.
In return, Victor could order Samuel to let Esme visit Ryan – though Esme would have to be careful not to alert Kevin or anyone else.
Unfortunately, there could be a huge problem on Esme’s end since Spencer just isn’t that into her anymore!
Spencer is obviously playing Esme at this point, so it could turn into a pretty messy situation all around.
General Hospital spoilers say Victor just might be Esme’s best shot at staying in Ryan’s orbit, so stay tuned.
