General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will have a baby crisis, so Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will care for this expectant mom. Liz will join Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in keeping a huge secret, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, we should point out that Nikolas will get a dreadful surprise during the week of November 7-11. That could be an indicator that Esme might vanish from the north tower and spark some panic.
Since this will happen just before the next hook attack, it could be the writers’ way of keeping Esme as a potential suspect. It seems obvious Esme is innocent at this point, but the goal may be to make her look guilty.
Regardless, Esme may not get very far if she manages to give Nik the slip. The week of November 14-18 will bring a situation where Nikolas is forced to think fast.
We’ll also see a medical crisis for Esme along with Elizabeth’s push for answers. Soon after, Nikolas will decide to seek a friend’s help – and then Liz will take a gamble.
It certainly sounds like Nikolas will end up regaining control of the Esme situation before facing yet another problem. Esme will be in distress, but Nikolas can’t have her admitted to GH like any other patient.
Whether Liz makes a house call or secretly treats Esme at the hospital, she’s probably going to be in charge of Esme’s medical care. Elizabeth won’t approve of how Nikolas is handling all this, but her priority will be helping a pregnant woman in that moment.
Of course, Liz’s mind may drift to Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) and how she feels responsible for her death. Elizabeth certainly won’t want to play a role in the potential demise of Esme and her unborn child, so she may act now and mull over whether she’ll rat Nik out later.
As for Nikolas, he might point out that Esme is dangerous – especially if the show’s still keeping her as a hook suspect by then. Although Liz will inevitably want to alert the cops, Nikolas may convince her that he knows best and can handle this.
Whatever the case, Elizabeth seems poised to become part of all the Nikolas and Esme drama, so that’ll add some interesting layers to the story. We’ll deliver updates as other GH news comes in.
