General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could develop a dangerous Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) obsession. This schemer may plot to be the new wife of Wyndemere, so let’s talk about the trouble Nikolas could land in.
For starters, we should acknowledge that Esme is a lot like Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Assuming that Ryan is truly Esme’s father like he claims, she seems to have inherited many of his devious qualities.
Of course, Ryan is known for fixating on certain people – just like he’s done with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
It’d be fitting for Esme to follow in Ryan’s footsteps and fixate on Nikolas as her own object of desire.
At this point in the story, Esme still wants to carry out Ryan’s wishes.
After Esme successfully seduced Nikolas like Ryan wanted, she was quite pleased over her accomplishment.
Esme also muttered to herself about the regrets Ava and Nikolas would face, so she’s still in marriage blowup mode right now.
However, Esme does seem to care for Nikolas, especially since he’s one of the few people who has shown kindness and had faith in her – even if she doesn’t deserve it.
What started out as a scheme may have turned into genuine attraction on Esme’s end.
For Nikolas, it was more about making bad choices and getting caught up in the moment.
That disconnect could lead to problems since Esme could become increasingly obsessed with Nikolas.
Ryan expects to focus on other targets once the marriage destruction is over, but Esme may decide she’d rather pursue Nik and become his new wife.
If Esme ends up pregnant by Nikolas, that’ll give her even more of a reason to latch onto him.
Esme could see the potential to build the family that she’s always wanted.
Nikolas doesn’t realize he’s slept with someone who’s almost as deranged as her serial killer bio dad.
Esme and Ryan are going to do some clashing in the coming episodes, so that could lead to even more danger for Nik.
If Esme takes her obsession with Nikolas too far, Ryan just might plot to kill him and get rid of the problem entirely!
