General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has just found out his late wife Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) was cheating on him with Dr. Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) just before her death. In addition, her death was precipitated by a fall down a flight of stairs that his girlfriend, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), caused.
As Finn struggles to wrap his head around how his past and present have collided, he’s going to reach out for a hand to hold — and he’ll find a familiar one in Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

In recent months, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis have become bosom buddies.
They’re both academic-minded, and Alexis hasn’t found that kind of intellectual stimulation in a single man in a while — let alone one who accepts her for who she is, disbarment and all.
She’s never felt less than Gregory, even with his many accolades.
Sparring with him has been a welcomed addition in her life, and he’s been a solid sounding board during The Hook investigation as Alexis hopes to help draw out the killer.
Alexis has always loved the push-and-pull angst of having a friend to debate with — and it’s just a bonus if he’s a single man.
GH Spoilers Indicate Elizabeth is Moving On, Too
It’s the perfect time for Finn and Alexis to wind up in bed together and spoil what could be starting to percolate between Alexis and Gregory.
Everything is going right in Alexis’ life, and that’s usually when she makes a colossal mistake that drives a good man away. Finn’s relationship with Elizabeth is disintegrating before his eyes.
His last engagement with her looked very final as he touched her cheek and walked out of her house without any explanation of what might come next.
Elizabeth is in an emotional panic and looking for solace as well, and it looks like she’s going to find it in Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Finn is feeling lower than he has in some time. That isn’t to say he wouldn’t be with Alexis otherwise, but these two have proven to themselves that they make better friends than bedroom companions.
So, when they both decide to fan the flames of their past, it might be a welcomed distraction from the lives they’re unhappy with. Alexis is lonely. Isn’t she always?
Sure, she has a new lease on life being Editor in Chief of The Invader, but she’s still struggling with how she feels about baiting The Hook into attacking her dear friend Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) recently, and the next attack might make for a weak moment during which Alexis falls off the wagon again.
Will Alexis rinse and repeat her past and jump into bed with Finn once again after a night of boozing?
Is Finn going to join her and throw his own sobriety in the toilet as he struggles to come to terms with what Reiko really did to him?
