General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, April 1, tease that Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) brother will have big news for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also plot a risky move while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) warns Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) of fierce plans, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
In the courtroom, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will take one final moment to wrestle with her decision before delivering her plea. Trina could potentially avoid jail time if she takes the deal that’s being offered, but that’d mean accepting blame for a crime she didn’t commit.
That’s just not who Trina is as a person. Plus, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are willing to testify that they don’t believe Trina would ever do something like this.
There are no guarantees either way, so the best move here is for Trina to plead not guilty. We’ll see what Trina decides, but Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have a plan of her own – one that no doubt involves Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) takedown.
Ava will know it goes against Cameron and Josslyn’s instincts to trust her, but she’ll need them to do it this time. If there’s one thing they can all agree on, it’s that Esme deserves to pay for all the pain she’s inflicted.
At Wyndemere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will wonder why Esme hasn’t taken the home pregnancy test yet. He might point out that Esme is just delaying the inevitable and argue that they need to find out whether she’s indeed carrying his child.
Esme will eventually agree to take the test, but let’s talk about her new living arrangement for a moment. Ava will find Esme and Spencer living at Wyndemere again now that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has agreed to it, so she’ll hit the roof once Monday rolls around.
In the meantime, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) may push Nina for an admission. “I’m gonna have to hear you say it,” Scott says rather smugly in Friday’s preview video.
It sounds like Scott may want Nina to admit she needs his help to score Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) visitation – and Nina will decide she indeed does.
Since Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) couldn’t get anywhere with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Nina will determine that a court battle is the next step.
“If Michael and Willow want a fight, they’ll get a fight,” Nina declares in Friday’s preview clip.
Over with Sonny, he’ll want Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) assistance with something risky. Brick will seem uneasy about what Sonny has in mind, but Sonny is stubborn and may insist on doing this with or without Brick’s help.
It sounds like whatever Sonny’s planning involves surveillance and some danger, so we’ll see exactly what he’s cooking up. Brick will offer his expertise and a warning, but Sonny has proven he’s always going to do whatever he wants to do!
Next, Alexis will continue her conversation with The Invader’s latest visitor. Neil’s brother just showed up, so Brendan Byrne (Josh Coxx) may remind Alexis of his name – though she’ll admit she never forgets a face.
Of course, Alexis could especially never forget Brendan since he put her on full blast at Neil’s memorial service. Brendan blamed Alexis for tanking Neil’s career and driving his brother to drugs, which meant blaming Alexis for Neil’s overdose death, too.
Has Brendan had a change of heart? Does Brendan now suspect foul play or could he have some other reason for seeking Alexis out?
Regardless, GH fans know Harmony was the one who injected Neil with that deadly syringe. Harmony was obviously working for someone else, but she’s still guilty of carrying out fatal orders.
