General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, April 1, teases that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will demand Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) pregnancy test results while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) schemes to help Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
At Wyndemere, Spencer will pressure Esme to go ahead and take that home pregnancy test. Esme might argue that she’s afraid of the results and act like it’ll make this real once she gets them.
Nevertheless, Spencer will be sick of wondering and waiting. He’ll feel like they have to know one way or the other, so he’ll push Esme to take this next step.
As for Trina, she’ll have to decide whether she’ll plead guilty or not guilty. After weighing the pros and cons, Trina will move forward with the choice she feels is best for her. Let’s hope it’s not guilty since Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) stands a good chance of getting Trina off the hook!
Scott just needs a chance to fight for Trina in the courtroom – and he’s willing to fight for Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) right to see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), too.
Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) tried her best to persuade Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but they stood their ground against Nina. Once Harmony passes that news along, Nina will declare war and turn to Scott for court prep.
Scott will give Nina a hard time since she previously fought him on taking legal action. He’ll enjoy the chance to gloat about being right, but he’ll indeed be willing to represent Nina in the fight against Michael and Willow.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be busy recruiting Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for a new project, but he’ll apparently get some pushback. It looks like Brick will try to talk Sonny out of some perilous plan, but it’s tough to do that once Sonny sets his mind to something.
Brick may have to surrender and offer his surveillance expertise. He’d probably rather help Sonny with this sneaky mission himself than hand it over to someone less capable.
At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will wonder what Brendan Byrne (Josh Coxx) wants. Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) brother just showed up in Alexis’ office, so he’ll be surprised she remembers him on Friday.
However, Alexis recalls Brendan’s memorial service outburst in excruciating detail. Brendan held Alexis responsible for Neil’s career failure, drug battle and overdose death, so she could never forget him lashing out.
Will Brendan apologize and blame his previous anger on grief? Is there a chance Brendan might offer some clue that points to murder? This conversation will at least get Alexis thinking about Neil’s death and could perhaps make her wonder if there was a deeper explanation.
Next on Friday’s GH episode, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will need to have a little faith in Ava. Although Ava doesn’t have the most trustworthy reputation around town, Cam and Joss at least know she cares about clearing Trina’s name.
Ava will remind Cameron and Josslyn that they’re on the same side when it comes to Trina. She’ll hope to make Esme suffer for what she’s done and prove Trina is an innocent woman.
Ava will do some scheming, but her target is invading Wyndemere thanks to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Nikolas agreed that Esme could live there with Spencer, so Ava’s going to throw a fit in the not-too-distant future.
