General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, April 8, reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was confirmed as Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) twin and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Framed Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) also got arrested, so here’s how Friday’s GH action went down.
In French Polynesia, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) complimented Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) on her fancy look.
Felicia was all set to attend the Ice Princess auction since Anna was too recognizable as a WSB agent, but Anna spotted another WSB agent and realized there wouldn’t be an auction at all.
The WSB was closing in on a suspect in the Ice Princess theft, so Anna managed to get in on the sting operation.
Meanwhile, undercover Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) managed to hide his safe tampering and kissed Jennifer back in her bungalow.
They ordered Champagne before Anna showed up at the door with WSB backup.
After the safe was opened, the Ice Princess was found inside.
Jennifer stammered about planning to bid on that and thought the French captain – who had now disappeared – must’ve put it there.
However, Jennifer was arrested since she had the diamond and there was evidence linking her to Kurt, who helped sabotage Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) cable car in Austria.
The WSB believed Jennifer stole the Ice Princess and then killed Luke to prevent him from stealing it back.
Valentin hovered outside the bungalow before asking a resort employee about the boat back to the mainland.
Felicia quizzed that employee and grew curious about the French naval officer who had been spotted with Jennifer.
When Anna caught up with Felicia, they discussed the Frenchman and wondered if Jennifer had been double-crossed.
Anna suspected that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) set Jennifer up to take the fall for everything and thought finding the French captain could be the key to getting the truth.
Nearby, Valentin was out of sight as he listened and removed his fake mustache.
Back in Port Charles, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) cut her conversation with Willow short since Brendon Byrne’s (Josh Coxx) text threats were escalating.
After Harmony showed up to meet with Brendon on the pier, she learned he had access to Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) file on her – including all the crimes Harmony had confessed to.
Brendon knew that Willow was actually Nina’s stolen daughter.
Brendon mentioned that Nina had twins – one baby that was put up for adoption on the black market and another little girl who was given to Harmony by Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills).
Harmony made it clear that she was broke, but Brendon pointed out Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wasn’t.
Brendon also mentioned Willow being the mother of a Quartermaine heir and suggested even Nina herself would be willing to pay for this information.
Brendon had nothing to lose and didn’t bluff, so he thought Harmony should be afraid.
If Brendon didn’t get his money, he intended to blow Harmony’s world.
Back with Willow, she met up with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as they strategized regarding the looming court battle.
Willow once again seemed exceptionally tired as she prepared to head home with Michael.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) struck a deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to hold poker games at The Savoy in exchange for all the dirty details on Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).
Nina was unsettled when she found Selina and Curtis together moments later.
Nina didn’t buy Selina’s family reunion reservation story and reminded Curtis that she said Ms. Wu was trouble.
While Nina pushed Curtis to be her character reference in court, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) turned to Sonny in hopes of getting him to vouch for Nina’s character as well.
However, Scott felt Nina would ultimately become Sonny’s collateral damage – just another poor girl in Sonny’s path of destruction.
Sonny said he underestimated Scott and made an ominous comment about Scott getting what he had coming to him.
At Curtis and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) worried the reporters outside added to Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) stress.
Marshall assured Trina that she wasn’t to blame for Stella’s panic attack.
Trina wondered if maybe she should plead guilty and try to make all this go away.
Trina worried about the toll it was taking on her loved ones, so Marshall thought back on his own decision to walk away from his family.
Now Marshall worried that he might’ve cost his family too much in doing that.
Back with Nina, she showed up at the Metro Court right as Michael and Willow were about to leave.
Brendon also appeared as the episode wrapped up on a tense note!
