General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, December 16, tease that Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) doctors will work to revive him – and it looks like they’ll succeed for a while. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will seem hopeful as she stands with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and asks for updates later.
Unfortunately, Trina’s about to face a crushing blow according to the latest spoilers.
Rory isn’t going to make it after all, so we’ll see how long GH writers drag out his inevitable death.
In the meantime, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will discuss a new lead with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Rory’s situation will remain heartbreaking, but Dante will keep putting his detective skills to good use.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll ask someone if they can go somewhere private to talk.
Josslyn already mentioned that idea to Cameron, so he may follow up on it and wonder what she wants to talk about.
Cam may already have a hunch since he’s been struggling to connect with Josslyn in recent weeks.
Will Josslyn and Cameron break up or could watching Trina’s ordeal with Rory leave them clinging to what’s already broken?
While on the run, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get fed up and argue with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
It won’t seem like Anna and Valentin have much to show for their efforts, but Valentin will remain determined to clear her name and bring Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) down.
At the gallery, Victor will poke the bear by visiting an already furious Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) just delivered divorce papers and lied about an affair with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that resulted in her pregnancy.
Ava will still be livid when Victor shows up to make matters worse, but he’ll urge Ava to put this incident behind her – the sooner, the better!
Instead, Ava will decide to settle the score and will work on a fast revenge plot.
Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will quiz a distraught Nikolas about what’s bothering him.
Nikolas will give Laura three guesses, but he’ll bet she can figure it out in one.
Laura may assume this is about the end of Nikolas’ marriage, so he might sell Liz’s pregnancy lie to her too or choose to hold that back for now.
Either way, Nikolas will likely rant about overbearing Victor and bring Laura up to speed on the strings that were pulled for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Laura will show faith in Spencer’s positive path, but she might not feel that way if she knew he impulsively punched Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)!
Back with Elizabeth, she’ll make a frantic phone call and apparently fear Nikolas is about to walk into a trap.
Liz might receive news from Ava that gives her a reason to worry.
Then again, this could be about Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) next trick since she’s indeed got something up her sleeve.
Threats will be coming from multiple angles, so Elizabeth will definitely freak out.
As for Ava, she’ll make a phone call of her own and ask if she’s got someone’s attention.
We mentioned Ava’s revenge plot, so she’ll move forward with a plan and try to destroy Nikolas’ life.
