General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, February 18, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will tip Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) off while a strange heatwave strikes Port Charles. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also deliver an angry threat, so there’ll be a lot happening in Friday’s exciting show.
Peter will remain on the run with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who knows they’re headed to an estate with a cabin.
It’s the same place Peter went during the summers while he was in boarding school, so he’s hoping to build a happy life with Maxie there.
Peter hinted that maybe Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) could join them eventually, but Maxie has no intention of letting that happen.
Maxie intends to take Peter down one way or another – whether that’s through the clues she left for Anna or by taking matters into her own hands.
Unfortunately, Peter will continue to drop bombs and force Maxie to think fast. Once they get where they’re going, Maxie may feign concern about getting caught.
Maxie might fish for information to figure out where any hidden exits are, but Peter won’t want her to worry.
Peter will insist that an escape plan is in place, so he may argue that they can disappear in a hurry if anyone shows up.
Now that Peter has a shot at living happily ever after with Maxie – or at least thinks he has a shot – he’ll definitely protect it.
Maxie may worry that’ll make things more difficult for Anna and those backing her up.
Maxie will hope Anna can track their location, but she may fret over what’ll happen once Anna actually arrives.
In the meantime, Anna will indeed be on her way!
Anna will catch a flight to Switzerland with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), so they’ll be able to put their heads together.
Anna will score another lead – one that makes it seem like Peter’s divulging his intended location in his own words.
Anna will try to decipher things and may assume this relates to one of Peter’s only happy memories.
Peter’s clue should send Anna, Drew and Dante in the direction of that estate Peter mentioned, but what about Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner)?
Felicia won’t be willing to stand by and do nothing, so she’ll go against Anna’s wishes and catch a flight to Switzerland on her own.
Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will do some eavesdropping and threaten someone as a result.
It looks like Britt will vow to harpoon Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) again if her mother dares to put herself back in harm’s way.
Liesl and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will also team up with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who chose to stay behind and concentrate on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Sam will work to protect Drew and the rest of Port Charles, but something weird is about to go down.
That’s because the temperature is set to skyrocket, which could mean Victor is already moving to Plan B.
Victor most likely has a weather machine to test out, so maybe this relates to the long-buried Cassadine secret he mentioned.
Victor still won’t have all the facts he needs yet, but he may go ahead and manipulate the weather anyway.
However, Victor will also have to worry about his enemies and even foes pretending to be friends.
It seems Victor will fret over Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) turning against him, but Ava will push Nikolas to be nice and help her figure out what exactly Victor is up to.
Finally, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will get a visit from Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) at Spring Ridge.
Laura won’t approve of something Spencer tells her, so he might offer more Victor praise or reflect on all the mayhem Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) created during their cabin getaway.
GH spoilers say Laura’s fears will be confirmed, but she’ll try to make Spencer see things her way.
Laura won’t want Spencer thinking Victor is some sort of hero.
Laura may also think Spencer needs to keep his eyes wide open when it comes to Esme, but he’s way ahead of her on that!
General Hospital spoilers say Spencer will keep his relationship with Esme afloat for now, but it’s purely for manipulation purposes at this point.
