General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, February 25, teases that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have suspicions while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) pushes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away – or at least tries to. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also get a promise, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Port Charles.
At GH, Liz will suspect something big is happening.
Whether that connects to something at the hospital or Liz’s storyline specifically, things are only going to grow more unsettling from here.
Over the next few episodes, Liz will face a string of troubling incidents that link to Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) memory.
Of course, Liz has already faced some signs of “haunting,” but more trouble is on the horizon.
On a happier note, Sam will be relieved over her reunion with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Sam will score a promise from her main squeeze and smile over making Dante stick to it, so that may involve some time to just chill instead of always having to save the world.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will also be glad Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) made it home safely.
Drew will make it clear that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is gone forever, so his enemies won’t have to worry about him anymore.
However, Monica will end up finding a reason to worry about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Monica might fear there’s relationship drama since Willow and Michael’s Paris plans have fallen through for now.
The good news is Michael and Willow are still on solid ground romantically.
The bad news is Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) has buried secrets that need to come out.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will give Harmony another pep talk and hope things work out with Willow, but her own friendship with Harmony will remain problematic to some PC residents.
At some point within the next episode or two, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will fret over Alexis getting dragged into a mess.
Alexis will stand by Harmony as someone with a kind heart, even if she’s gotten herself into trouble by hiding things.
Harmony will summon Willow and get ready to admit something, but it won’t be the entire truth.
It’s possible Harmony herself was misled, but that commune birth story isn’t legit regardless.
Willow is Nina’s biological child, so more bombs will drop for Willow somewhere down the line.
Until then, we’ll see if Willow at least learns Harmony isn’t her bio mom. That much is true!
Next, Carly will receive another visitor in her office – and based on Friday’s preview video, it appears it’ll be someone she cares about.
Carly will seem genuinely fearful about what’s gone down, so maybe Michael will admit problems have developed due to Willow’s lack of a birth certificate.
Michael may talk about Harmony being untrustworthy and fret over how all this will turn out.
It’d be a smart writing move to go ahead and let Carly join this storyline.
That way, GH can inch toward Carly’s inevitable discovery and have her keep the Willow bio daughter truth from Nina.
At the penthouse, Nina will try to shut down the passion that keeps erupting with Sonny.
Nina may feel like she’s taking advantage of Sonny’s pain – not to mention letting herself be used as a rebound.
Sonny won’t be so quick to dismiss their feelings and may argue that there’s nothing holding them back now.
Nevertheless, Nina won’t be on board with rushing full-speed ahead into a deep relationship – not when Sonny’s still drowning in Carly sorrow and trying to find a way forward.
Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will also consider striking a deal, but there’ll be a big catch.
GH fans might see more tension between Shawn and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) eventually, but TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will pop up for some important news soon.
