General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 14, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will poke the Corinthos hornet’s nest while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) apologizes to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also face some Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) questions thanks to Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) grilling session, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will seek Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) out with news on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
That could leave Britt nervous since Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) just admitted he was the one who poisoned Peter behind bars.
Now Britt will have to keep Brad’s secret and try to avoid tipping Dante off to what she knows. Speaking of secrets, Esme has more than a few of those.
Esme will raise suspicions as she chats with Kevin about his serial killer brother, so he’ll wonder just how much time Esme’s spending with Ryan at Spring Ridge.
While Kevin quizzes Esme, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will hold a family meeting and push Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to reconcile with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Laura will hope to make this happen before Spencer goes to prison, so we’ll see if she can bring this father and son together again.
Meanwhile, it looks like Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will be willing to help Nina, but he’ll wonder if she really wants to burn down that last bridge.
Martin may point out that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may not stay on her side very long if she goes after legal visitation of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will show up and express concern about Nina’s tactic as well.
Ava will wonder if Nina’s sure she wants to start poking this hornet’s nest, but Nina may feel like she’s simply doing what she has to do to see her grandson.
Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make his stance crystal clear during a tense conversation with Sonny.
It seems Michael will rant about Nina’s unforgivable acts and perhaps argue that he doesn’t blame Carly for moving out under the circumstances.
Michael may think Sonny’s the one who needs to step up and make things right. There’ll probably be some conflict, but General Hospital spoilers say Dante will play peacemaker in Friday’s episode.
Perhaps Dante will arrive in time to settle Michael down and help him see Sonny’s perspective.
As for Carly, she’ll run into Drew and admit she owes him an apology.
Carly was rather cold to Drew on the footbridge when they last saw each other, so she’ll be sorry for that and will be grateful he tried to help.
Drew will once again offer a sympathetic ear, so Carly may be more willing to take him up on it this time around.
