General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 21, tease that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) will have a memorial on The Haunted Star, so this episode will revolve around a special tribute. Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) will also admit there’s a deal-breaker as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) declares he’s done wasting time, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, it looks like Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will decide to crash the wake since he apparently didn’t get an invitation.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also continue to reflect on her loss and the speech she intends to make at the gathering.
When Laura admits she’d rather do this with a friend by her side, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) should be glad to step up.
As for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she’ll be surprised when Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) reaches out and explains her recent decision to let Tracy off the hook for her crimes.
Alexis will admit that everyone deserves a second chance. She’ll want to make the most of her own and will know it would’ve made Luke happy to see Tracy go free.
Alexis and Tracy will manage to keep the peace during this difficult time – and that’s something Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will hope Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) can do, too.
It turns out Ava will get in the middle of Spencer and Nikolas’ argument on Friday’s show. She’ll push the two of them to set aside their differences for one night and hope they go along with the idea.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will stir the pot as usual and will tell someone that he or she is so right.
GH spoilers say Victor will ooze his typical fake charm and keep a big secret since we know he “neutralized” Luke as part of some grand plan.
As for Dante, he’ll find Sonny at Charlie’s Pub and express concern about his father.
Sonny has been drinking too much and isn’t acting like himself lately. Viewers know that’s partly because Sonny is off his meds, but Dante may not make that connection just yet.
Regardless, Dante will worry about Sonny pushing Carly so hard that he pushes her away.
Dante may remind Sonny once again that Carly asked for time and space, but Sonny will argue that he’s not wasting any more time.
As for Carly, she’ll check on Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), who’ll decide not to make any big speech to remember Luke.
Bobbie will let Laura and Tracy handle that part of the memorial, but she’ll appreciate Carly’s offer of support.
Bobbie will also want to be there for Carly, so that should bring a conversation about her fractured marriage.
Carly may end up having another tough discussion with Sonny as well since he insists on pushing the issue.
At some point, Carly will mention something being a deal-breaker, so she may not be able to handle having another woman in this relationship.
Carly warned Sonny to kill Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) off in his heart, so she may stand by that as the solution.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and others will also be part of Luke’s tribute show.
There’ll be some shockers as a new umbrella mystery story begins, so don’t miss all the action.
