General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, July 15 – Carly’s Painful Goodbye – Ava Busts Esme – Portia Bans Stella from Courtroom

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 15, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will say a painful goodbye while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) busts Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Portia Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also ban Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) from the courtroom, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

For starters, it looks like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may wonder if Carly’s sure about turning down Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) offer.

After all, Nina offered to give Carly back her half of the Metro Court and insisted there were no strings attached.

It’s not like Carly has to suddenly like Nina or start treating her differently.

Drew may argue that Nina has a lot to make up for and agree that Nina owes Carly this.

However, Carly will stand by her decision to reject Nina’s offer and will think Drew knows why.

Since Carly feels like there’s always something in it for Nina, she won’t be interested in watching Nina hold this over her.

Furthermore, Carly just can’t accept a gift from Nina after the way she let Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) go after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in court, so Carly’s mind will be made up.

That means Carly will clean out her office as planned and officially bid farewell to her half of the Metro Court.

Nina will remain discouraged over her failed plan, but Sonny will wonder if she really expected Carly to accept a handout from her of all people.

Although Sonny and Nina shared a warm moment after their recent fight, they’ll go back to bickering about Nina’s motives.

It looks like Sonny will argue that Nina brought this on herself, so there’ll be some tension that lingers into the week of July 18-22.

In the meantime, Portia will argue that Stella won’t be stepping anywhere near that courtroom, so that’ll catch Stella off guard.

Perhaps Portia will worry that Stella could have another medical crisis if she lets herself get too anxious or stressed.

There might also be concerns about Stella’s tendency to fly off the handle, which wouldn’t be good since Trina needs her entire support system to be calm and respectful.

Whatever the case, it’ll be interesting to see if Stella lets Portia win this argument.

Other GH spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) won’t be sure she can stay silent.

Trina came clean about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) being her alibi, so Joss may vow to come forward with that info if Trina won’t do it herself.

While Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) wait for news from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), they’ll wonder what’s taking so long.

Ava will be helping Marshall and Curtis out on the next phase of their plan, but they’ll face a waiting game down by the docks.

That’ll give Curtis a chance to ask more questions about Marshall’s past and connect with him on a deeper level.

As for Ava, Friday’s preview video makes it seem like she’ll bust Esme with the bartender who just arrived at Wyndemere.

Esme could land in a tight spot as she struggles to cover up what’s really going on.

It’s also possible the bartender will manage to hide or slip out, but he’s going to land in hot water soon and will be a key player in this storyline whether he likes it or not!

Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll fret now that she’s received disturbing updates on her mother.

Laura will feel obligated to leave town and tend to Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander), but she’ll also have the feeling that maybe she shouldn’t go.

Although Laura will open up to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and fear a storm could be brewing in her absence, he may insist she’ll worry herself sick if she doesn’t help Lesley.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) just saved Laura from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) sniper and put this backup plan in motion, so whatever accident or ailment Lesley’s dealing with is better than Laura getting shot dead!

Valentin was apparently behind Lesley’s crisis, so he had to pick the lesser evil and may assure Victor that this will keep Laura away – at least long enough for Victor to accomplish what needs to be done.

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin and Victor’s complicated relationship will lead to even more trouble, so stay tuned.
