General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 29, tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will blow up at Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) spills Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) alibi. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also want revenge on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, Brando will have questions now that he’s found Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in the stairwell with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
This looks shady, so Brando may fear Dex didn’t listen and is now harassing Michael again.
Brando will even suggest taking this to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) if there’s a problem, but Michael may insist there’s no need for that.
Perhaps Michael will act like Dex was simply apologizing once more after they crossed paths randomly.
Whatever the case, Brando has bigger issues to deal with since Sasha is struggling, but she keeps pushing him away.
When Brando meets back up with Sasha, they’ll get into an argument that quickly escalates.
Sasha will yell for Brando to stop trying to control her every move, but he’ll fire back that maybe somebody does need to control her.
Brando’s concern for Sasha is obviously coming out in the form of anger now, but this could lead to quite a rift if they let it.
Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will prepare for follow-up tests and wonder if TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) can tell her what he’s looking for.
Since TJ clearly has a hunch, Willow will push him to come clean and help her avoid waiting in suspense.
However, it seems TJ will stick to the facts and refuse to divulge anything before he knows for sure.
Willow will just have to hang in there a little longer, but the latest story hints are pointing in the direction of cancer.
At the boxing gym, Sonny will talk to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) about Dex potentially replacing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and taking on a larger role in his organization.
Brick will think Sonny needs to take a closer look at Dex’s history first and won’t be as certain he’s the right fit.
At one point, Brick will corner Dex and suggest they have a lot to talk about. Dex may get grilled about his past, but Brick will no doubt do some digging on his own as well.
In the courtroom, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be confused over what’s going on since Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) just called Spencer as a witness.
Spencer is going back on the stand to hopefully clear Trina’s name with her alibi.
After Spencer insists he knows for a fact Trina couldn’t have distributed that video, he’ll admit to leaving Spring Ridge and bumping into her in the cemetery.
Trina was with Spencer when the video went public, so he’ll hope that bolsters her case.
Of course, the ADA may act like Spencer is lying in a last-ditch effort to protect Trina.
Besides, the video could’ve been scheduled to post ahead of time, so it’s not like this cemetery run-in truly proves anything.
Even so, it certainly can’t hurt and will no doubt leave Trina grateful.
Spencer is putting his own freedom on the line for Trina’s sake since he could go back to prison over his admission.
At Wyndemere, Ava will rip into Esme and want the snake to pay for seducing Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Although Ava is definitely holding Nikolas responsible for his part in all this, that doesn’t mean Esme gets a pass.
Now that Ava has shown up, she’s going to throw a wrench in Esme’s plan to leave town.
Esme will have to stick around and deal with Ava’s vengeful wrath instead, so that’ll give Ava a chance to push her enemy’s buttons like never before.
