General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, May 27 – Nina Defends Ruthless Move – Esme Threatens Spencer – Ava & Nik’s Marriage Crumbling

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 27, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will defend a ruthless move while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) threatens Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) marriage will also be crumbling – though Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will try to find a solution.

First, Spencer will fume after spying Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) close moment.

That should put Spencer in a foul mood when he reconvenes with Esme, so it won’t be long until these two have a major blowup.

Spencer will plan to take off again after a heated confrontation, but Esme will shout that she may not be there when he gets back.

Esme will threaten to leave Spencer, which could obviously ruin his takedown plan.

Spencer was hoping Esme might drop her guard and reveal something that could prove Trina’s innocence, so this will serve as a setback.

At the Metro Court pool, a shirtless Rory will do a little more flirting with Trina.

Rory will talk about being an optimist as he encourages Trina to put her worries aside and have some fun in the sun.

Meanwhile, Nikolas and Ava will have a serious argument over the deal she offered Spencer – the one where he’d get $10,000 per week if he left Wyndemere for good with Esme.

Of course, their issues run far deeper than this latest crisis, so look for Ava and Nikolas’ marriage to crumble even further.

Ava will snap that if there’s a choice to make, it’s her choice.

It sounds like Nikolas and Ava will be inching in the direction of divorce, but Victor will hang around and decide to intervene.

Unfortunately, Victor’s efforts to make Ava and Nikolas compromise will probably just backfire in the end.

Whatever the case, Nikolas will head back home to drink alone – and that’ll put him in the prime position for Esme to seduce him.

While Esme plots her next move, there’ll be more courtroom drama.

Michael will answer Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) questions about Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) and his role in her death, but this strategy may not accomplish much for Scott.

Sonny made some mistakes of his own during the whole Claudia mess – and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may point out that this visitation hearing isn’t about Michael’s past anyway.

They’re all there so a judge can decide if Nina should spend time with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), so Diane will shift the focus back to that.

Once Diane asks why Michael’s opposing that Nina have any contact with Wiley, he’ll give an impassioned speech on the stand.

Michael’s powerful testimony could really seal the deal on Nina losing this battle.

During a court break, it looks like Sonny will confront Nina about Scott’s strategy.

Sonny may think it was a low blow to bring up Claudia, but Nina will insist she did what she had to do.

Finally, Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) will listen in as Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) discuss the potential of him moving to Chicago for his dream job.

Terry will do her best to help Chet make a decision, so this will be out of Amy’s hands despite all her scheming.

General Hospital spoilers say love will come with more complications in Port Charles, so don’t miss what’s coming up.
