General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, October 14, reveals that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) unleashed cheating fury after he found Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) together. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) also had a surprise reunion in Jacksonville, so here’s how all the GH action played out.
At Kelly’s, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) joined Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and offered updates on the hook culprit being a woman.
Dante also felt that Cody had dodged a bullet if he was backing off Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), but Cody had to admit she was never boring.
Talk turned to Mac Scorpio (John J. York), so Cody said he was no longer worried about Mac gunning for him.
However, Dante had to take off before Cody could open up about the potential bio dad situation.
At GH, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) insisted no one could ever find out about Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) master key to the Internet.
Although Sam believed Cody was an OK guy, she wanted to look him in the eye and address the blackmail drama.
Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) sought Britt’s honest opinion on Cody and learned he’d “kind of ghosted” her.
Maxie admitted Cody had a lot going on and explained how he might be Mac’s biological son.
Since Britt seemed hopeful that maybe Cody was still interested, Maxie urged her to put all her cards on the table and go for it.
Britt mentioned the other duds who’d been interested in her lately right as Spinelli appeared, so there was some awkwardness.
After Britt took off, Maxie assured Spinelli that she’d let Britt know he was over his crush.
The conversation shifted to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) asking Maxie to attend the symphony, so Spinelli seemed skeptical that Maxie would enjoy it.
Maxie pushed Spinelli to use Society Setups on himself while Dante encountered Britt nearby.
Their interaction left Britt wondering if Dante thought she wasn’t good enough for Cody, but he said his buddy could decide for himself – though he warned her not to jerk Cody around.
Back at Kelly’s, Sam cornered Cody and insisted he’d made a huge mistake in blackmailing her friend.
Cody downplayed things and assured Sam that he wouldn’t ask Spinelli for anything else.
Sam said she wasn’t going to tell Dante for now, but she warned that Cody would wish he was never born if he hurt Spinelli.
A little later, Britt arrived and revealed that she’d been looking for Cody.
Over the phone, Lucy said she was perfectly capable of making decisions in how to handle Victor, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) worried those decisions could have unintended consequences – like death!
In Victor’s suite, he assured Johann (Max Decker) that Lucy would be taught a lesson.
The severity of that lesson depended on whether Lucy was just overly curious or working for someone else.
At home, Anna told Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) being Victor’s accomplice.
After revealing a new strategy offscreen, Robert was wary since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was at the center of the plan.
Once they talked about the “good old days,” Anna gave Robert a nudge toward finding a new romantic partner.
Robert agreed to think about dating again as soon as they took out Victor.
In Lucy’s office, Victor showed up with a necklace and put it on her – just in case she had any lingering blues from last night.
Lucy didn’t know how to thank Victor, but Martin suddenly appeared and thought Victor must have a couple ideas.
Martin clearly assumed Lucy was cheating and acted like she’d traded up after losing interest.
Of course, Lucy insisted it wasn’t what it looked like and tried to explain more in private.
After Lucy pointed out that she was working with Anna, Martin said Anna didn’t say anything when she told him to come home.
Lucy called Anna a “little witch” for setting her up and pushed Martin to believe she wasn’t cheating.
In fact, Lucy argued that she did this for their future and called Martin 16 times the man Victor was.
Martin finally seemed to believe Lucy and kissed her, but she took off in a hurry and vowed to get Anna out of the way.
Back at Anna’s place, Lucy confronted her for butting in and ranted about her summoning Martin.
Victor was able to eavesdrop through a listening device that was part of Lucy’s necklace.
In Jacksonville, Carly was pleased to see Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), who wanted to check on her and offer backup.
Carly wasn’t sure she’d done enough to convince the guild to scrap their plans for the parkway, but she admitted coming there had given her closure.
After Carly gushed over how much Drew had helped her, she said he was an amazing guy.
Bobbie asked if that was all Drew was, so Carly once again clarified that they were just friends.
While Bobbie went to check in her hotel room, Carly settled her tab and ran into Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl).
Peyton delivered news on the guild vote being over and insisted that the parkway wouldn’t be rerouted.
Once Peyton said Virginia Benson’s (Lois Nettleson) remains would have to be moved, she told “Caroline” that she failed.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Peyton’s faceoff will continue, so don’t miss what’s in store!
