General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 16, teases that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will suspect shady Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) reveals bad news. Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will also pressure Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so there’ll be a lot happening in Port Charles.
By the Metro Court pool, Brad will listen to Britt complain about her messy love life, but Brad will push her to focus on the spark she’s found with Cody Bell (Josh Bell) and give him a real chance.
Meanwhile, Cody will deal with more police drama since Dante will have questions about Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) stabbing.
Dante may just be covering all his bases, but Cody won’t appreciate the interrogation about his whereabouts last night.
Cody has admitted that cops don’t like him much, so he’ll worry about getting railroaded for a crime he didn’t commit.
Dante may assure Cody that he’s just gathering info and doesn’t honestly believe Cody had anything to do with either hook attack.
Other GH spoilers say Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will fish for information at the stables, so she may realize Cody is on edge.
Thankfully, Cody will have an opportunity to unwind with the horses and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), who’s become quite fond of the cowboy.
At the hospital, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get brutally honest with someone.
That could be Dex if Sonny makes it clear that he expects Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to be protected no matter the cost.
Sonny asked Dex to watch over Joss discreetly, but he may clarify that Dex needs to be willing to put his own life on the line.
That’s what it takes to work for Sonny since the people he cares about are such a huge priority.
However, Sonny may also level with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and insist he’s more concerned than her about Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Lexi Ainsworth) safety.
Jordan doesn’t really feel like there’s a threat to Kristina, but there could indeed be one if the attacker thinks Kristina can identify him or her.
Kristina didn’t see the person’s face, but this baddie can’t know that for sure!
Speaking of Kristina, she’ll get to know Dex a little better.
Although Dex will be the picture of composure, Kristina will think he might be more rattled than he’s letting on.
Plenty of fans have been rooting for a potential Dex and Kristina romance, so the show may do some chemistry testing – just in case they eventually decide to go in another direction besides Dex and Josslyn.
In the meantime, Jordan will have something to ask Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), but he’ll want to know if she’s coming to him as the police commissioner or the woman he’s married to.
Curtis will take a jab about Jordan still being his wife, so she’ll land in a tight spot as she tries to keep Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) secret.
We may see Curtis accuse Jordan of botching the divorce on purpose since he’ll indeed share some suspicions on Friday, September 16.
Jordan may also value Curtis’ unique insight on the case, so he could share some suspicions regarding the hook villain, too.
Back with Dante, he’ll get some troubling vibes when it comes to Dex and what he might be hiding.
Dex is secretly working for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but Dante may get other ideas and start thinking Dex could be the one who brandished that hook.
Over with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), they’ll get updates on Brando’s condition.
Now that Brando’s surgery has been suspended until his blood pressure can be stabilized, Gladys and Sasha will be eager to learn more.
Portia will have something positive to divulge, but there’ll be some bad news regarding Brando as well.
Sadly, the worst news is still to come since Brando’s death seems to be rapidly approaching!
