General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, September 2, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a new job for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) faces a furious nightmare. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also have a clue for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
First, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will tell Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that step one is complete – and a flirty Chase will be ready for step two.
Now that Chase and Brook Lynn are officially a thing, this could be a good opportunity to mix business with pleasure.
Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), they’ll discuss Ava’s attack.
Joss will talk about how helpful Dex was, but Cam may wonder if Dex could’ve played the hero after causing the attack in the first place.
Cameron didn’t get good vibes from Dex when they first met, so he’ll be surprised when Josslyn acts like he’s a nice guy deep down.
Of course, Josslyn and Cameron may also consider the possibility that Spencer did the deed, but he was drunk and throwing up in the bathroom according to someone on the Quartermaine staff.
Besides, Cameron and Josslyn probably won’t think Spencer’s hatred for Ava would drive him that far.
Spencer loathes Ava, but attempted murder would be a little extreme under the circumstances.
Speaking of Spencer, he’ll have a vivid nightmare – and it looks like Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may be the star of it.
Friday’s GH preview video shows Spencer shouting, “How could you?! How could he?!”
Perhaps Spencer will confront Esme about her betrayal with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in a dream and finally get some of his anger out.
At the hospital, Nina will pay Ava a visit, but she’ll assume Nikolas is the one Ava really wants to see.
Ava will act a bit off at the mention of Nikolas’ name, so that’ll leave Nina wondering what’s wrong.
This could lead to Ava admitting she can’t be sure Nikolas isn’t responsible for her attack.
Later, Sonny will pump Nina for info, so she may admit that even Ava herself has doubts about Nik’s innocence.
As for Dex, he’ll get some disappointing news. Sonny will have another job for Dex to do, but it may not be the kind of work Dex had in mind.
Dex probably hoped he’d get a promotion for saving Ava, but that apparently won’t be the case.
Sonny might even warn Dex to keep his distance from Josslyn now that there’s no longer a life-threatening situation.
Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will wonder when he should move in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) penthouse with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr).
Sam will suggest tomorrow, so that should bring a pre-celebration before an even better one during the week of September 5-9.
Next, Willow will lash out – presumably at Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and potentially Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), too.
Although Willow’s doctors will once again warn about the dangers of delaying treatment, she’ll yell that her mind is made up.
Nevertheless, Willow will reach a decision on Friday’s show, so it’s possible she’ll decide to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about her leukemia diagnosis and chemo delay sooner than planned.
On the other hand, Willow might simply decide to stick to her original choice and enjoy these last few weeks without the fear of fighting.
Either way, Willow will feel like her world is spinning out, but there’s nothing she can do to stop it right now.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow will take some big gambles with her health as this storyline moves along, so stay tuned.
