General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 2, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will haunt Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) mull over a suspect list. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also have a major outburst at GH, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Nina will stop by Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) room in the ICU.
When Nina realizes Ava doesn’t want to see Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), that’ll raise questions about why.
Ava may trust Nina with the truth and admit she’s worried Nikolas might’ve jabbed that hook.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) should pick up on the fact that Nina knows something later, so he’ll push her to spill.
That could lead to Nina relaying Ava’s suspicions and making Sonny determined to take Nik down.
Sonny will speak with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in the meantime, but that conversation should lead to a bummer – at least for Dex.
There’ll be some news that leaves Dex disheartened, so he may not get the reward he was hoping for.
Dex came through for Ava with Josslyn’s help, but Sonny’s next job may not be big enough for Dex’s taste.
It’s clear that Dex wants to earn Sonny’s trust and take on more responsibilities – if only to move Michael Corinthos’ (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) takedown plot along.
Sonny may also order Dex to stay away from Josslyn from now on.
Like Michael, Sonny doesn’t want anyone in his family caught up in mob drama – and Joss is still part of Sonny’s protected circle whether she wants to be or not.
Next, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will flirt as they continue to scheme.
Chase and Brook Lynn should take another step or two toward Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) downfall, but they’ll take time to enjoy their new romantic development, too.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will prepare for a big day.
It looks like Sam will suggest that Dante and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) should move in tomorrow, so that’ll lead to a full penthouse.
At the hospital, Willow will have a fierce outburst and refuse to let anyone change her mind.
Since Willow is determined to protect her unborn child, she feels like delaying chemotherapy is her only option.
Willow also wants to hold off on telling Michael, but Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) may push her to come clean sooner.
That way, Willow can truly get the support she needs.
Willow will have a choice to make, so we’ll see how long she can keep Michael in the dark on her leukemia diagnosis.
Regardless, you can bet this will remain an incredibly difficult ordeal.
As Spencer gets ready to begin his Pentonville sentence, he’ll have an awful dream.
It looks like Esme may pop up in that nightmare, so Spencer might have a chance to rip into her for hooking up with his own father.
Spencer still has plenty of anger to unleash when it comes to Nikolas’ betrayal with Esme, so this rotten dream will offer that chance.
Across town, Cameron and Josslyn will debate who might’ve stabbed Ava by the boathouse.
Cam will pose a suggestion that leaves Joss skeptical, so that could be Spencer or maybe even Dex.
Since Cameron finds Dex shady, he might consider the possibility that Sonny’s employee attacked Ava and then pretended to be the hero.
However, Josslyn may rush to Dex’s defense and contend that he’s actually pretty sweet once you get to know him.
We’ll pass along updates as other info comes in. General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn should land at the center of a love triangle soon, so stay tuned.
