Right now, Nikolas probably thinks all this pregnant Esme drama couldn’t get any worse.
However, soaps have proven that there are always more bombshells around the corner.
On social media, Esme’s baby bump has become a buzzworthy topic of conversation – specifically how big it is considering she’s only three months pregnant.
Esme wondered if Nikolas was really just going to keep her locked up for the next six months, so that confirms how far along she is.
Naturally, that’s led to speculation that Esme might be having twins!
Since Nikolas is holding Esme captive, the twin revelation could come as a shock to both of them down the road – maybe even when the birth happens.
It seems risky to not let Esme visit the OB-GYN and have proper prenatal care.

Someone could show up with all the right equipment and make sure Esme’s pregnancy is going smoothly.
In that case, maybe Esme and Nikolas could find out any twin info in advance.
There’s no guarantee that Esme has two buns in the oven, but we at least have to consider the idea.
If there’s one thing that could make this situation worse for Nikolas, it’s Esme having a second baby!
Twins don’t come along on soaps very often, but it’d be a great way to add to the chaotic trainwreck aspect of this whole story.
