General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may cheat with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and keep a secret betrayal from Cameron Webber (William Lipton). The writing’s on the wall for major trouble in Joss and Cam’s relationship, so let’s talk about where things might be headed.
For starters, there’s been emotional distance between Cameron and Josslyn for months. Cam made the decision to stay quiet about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) takedown plan, which meant putting his loyalty to Spencer above his loyalty to Josslyn.
Although Josslyn moved past her initial anger and tried to understand Cameron’s perspective, that doesn’t mean she’s over what he did. Cam’s decision was a betrayal, even if he had good intentions.
Josslyn and Cameron’s romance certainly isn’t as strong as it should be right now, so that’s going to be important now that Dex is in the picture. GH writers are already offering the classic “enemies to lovers” trope since Josslyn’s first couple interactions with Dex were tense.
However, Josslyn seems to be warming up to Dex somewhat. There’s also the matter of all that ogling Joss did by the pool! Josslyn certainly looked like she was appreciating Dex’s hot body as he emerged from the pool, so temptation may be brewing.
We should also consider Dex’s side of the situation since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has repeatedly warned him to stay away from his sister. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) doesn’t want Dex stirring up any Josslyn trouble either, so it’s easy to see where this is going.
The quickest way to create drama here is for Dex to fall for Josslyn. It’s the one thing that could jeopardize both of Dex’s jobs and put him on the bad side of Michael as well as Sonny.
Josslyn may jeopardize her relationship too if she becomes increasingly drawn to Dex. It just feels like Dex and Josslyn are destined to land in bed together, so that could leave Joss feeling like she’s made a huge mistake.
Josslyn may sleep with Dex and decide they have to brush it under the rug. Perhaps Josslyn will end up with a betrayal she’s trying to keep quiet about – and that could naturally set the stage for a shocking exposure.
