General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) death could land Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in big trouble. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may get dragged into the drama as he works to help Brook Lynn avoid prison.
Now that Linc has returned for another round of sleazy behavior, he may not be lucky enough to walk away this time.
The show could be setting Linc up for a deadly fate.
Brook Lynn mentioned Linc’s constant sexual harassment of the past, so they’re laying some groundwork here.
Linc looks as disgusting as ever, so the writers may ensure that he pays a steep price.
After all, Linc controlling Brook Lynn’s songs isn’t much of a romantic obstacle.
That just doesn’t feel like something substantial to derail what Brook Lynn and Chase are building together.
There has to be a bigger crisis brewing, so could Brook Lynn kill Linc in self-defense or a moment of rage that gets out of hand?
Will Brook Lynn call Chase once she’s got a dead body to deal with?
Linc invited Brook Lynn to his room to explore more of a new arrangement, which led to Brook Lynn and Chase lashing out on the May 18 episode.
Once Brook Lynn saw that Chase was about to punch Linc, she decked the dirtbag instead.
Brook Lynn refused to let Chase put his job in jeopardy when he’s so close to being reinstated at the PCPD.
All of this feels like a setup for a far worse situation where Chase has to make some tough choices.
If Brook Lynn’s battle with Linc does end in his death, she might refuse to let Chase cover for her.
Since Chase arresting Brook Lynn has been a recurring theme for these two, he may reluctantly do it once again after he’s reinstated.
Chase could still work to get Brook Lynn off the hook in the aftermath.
There’s no way Chase will let Brook Lynn go down for Linc’s murder, so you can bet he’ll do everything he can to help if she faces serious charges.
On the other hand, Chase might insist on trying to take the fall.
That’s another scenario that’s easy to imagine based on Chase’s history of chivalry and the clues the show’s offered so far.
Bottom line, Linc feels like a GH character who’s about to run his course. They surely won’t let this guy just waltz out of town again.
Linc can’t keep coming back to cause problems, so death may be the next stop for the character.
Will that become the real hurdle Chase and Brook Lynn are forced to contend with?
