General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may lose it over her father’s unwelcome visit. Will Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson) shock his daughter at work?
GH fans know Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is worried that things are a little too good to be true right now.
Liz suddenly claimed her mental state had improved and decided to stop pushing Finn away.
Although Finn is loving the chance to take on a bigger role in Liz’s life, he can’t shake the feeling that something’s amiss.
It feels more like Liz is just saying and doing all the right things to make herself look fine.
In reality, Liz has some deep trauma that she hasn’t fully explored.
Until Liz is willing to face her past and do the work to overcome those buried issues, she can’t heal and move on.
Nevertheless, Liz will keep pretending she’s doing better and hope she can fake it until she makes it.
At this point, Liz is just desperate for her life to feel somewhat normal again, so she’ll try hard to make it seem that way.
On July 29, Finn will decide he should check on Liz during her first day back at work.
Liz was upset over having to clear all the red tape, but she’ll do what needs to be done and finally get her GH shifts back on track.
Unfortunately, something surprising will happen right as Liz resumes her duties. Could that involve Jeff Webber’s shocking arrival?
Liz is adamant that she doesn’t want to see her parents, but her disdain for her father seems to be the most important.
It feels like the show is building to Jeff Webber’s sudden appearance and Liz’s fury when she realizes he’s in town.
Liz might accuse Finn of calling Jeff and asking him to come, but it’s doubtful he did.
Jeff may admit he was simply concerned about Liz since she won’t answer his calls, texts or emails.
Since Liz certainly wouldn’t approve if Jeff visited the boys at the house, he might seek her out at work instead.
Jeff may understand that he needs to approach Liz alone and figure she can’t avoid him at the hospital.
Whatever the case, there’ll be some drama on Liz’s first day back on the job.
Could Liz have a long-awaited faceoff with her father? Is Jeff Webber finally about to enter this storyline?
